  • I miss them so much...Not the last album or the bastardized edition of the Ghostship Demos. They just had an energy. Live or when listened to off their albums.

  • God, this still gives me the goosebumps after 5 years. This band is pure genius. Thomas Erak shreds like none other and the music is fantastic.

  • Did he just hold that guys face?

  • sickkkkk

  • Hey anyone in port st lucie wanna get a band goin? I may be young but i got mad skills! Do you know any teen that can play spoonman by soundgarden?

  • was this filmed with a toaster?

  • i watched this shit when i was 16, i'm 21 now, this shit is still impeccable.

  • Three words: Thomas Fucking Erak.

  • @whatishouldbe Three words: Thomas Tim Andrew.

  • How can one play guitar so fast and sing at same time???

  • this guitarist is so fuking awesome

  • if anyone wants to join a three piece band message me, im a guitarist but im willing to play either guitar or bass, so any bass players or lead guitarists would be appreciated, its just me and my friend, and hes REALLY good at drums, join...

  • 25 Dream Theater fans watched this video!

  • @OmarCore93 i love dream theater and fall of ttroy

  • @OmarCore93 You are totally mistaken sir. Dream Theater fans are able to enjoy most kind of music without locking just with one single band or music style, which you probably can't.

  • @charuan12 Firstly, you don't know who I am, you don't know what type of music I listen. I don't listen only to The Fall Of Troy, of course.12 people agree with me, lol. I wrote that comment because a few years ago I talked about music with a Dream Theater fan, he sayed to me "if you don't like Dream Theater you don't know what is Metal", I think Dream Theater is one of the most overestimated band. If you are able to enjoy most kind of music I'm happy for you :)

  • @OmarCore93 For the same reason you can't just label Dream Theater Fan's just because one single guy, you dont know me either, so your comments have no support at all, i just did what you did with your comment, prejudging....

  • @charuan12 I didn't want to hurt Dream Theater fans with my comment, my comment is a little ironic.

  • @OmarCore93 Dude, I'm a huge Dream Theater fan but I fucking love The Fall of Troy!

  • @broed731 why so angry?

  • 25 people like bands like my chemical romance

  • @Iamtaylorwyrosdick Whats wrong with My Chemical Romance? They are a great band.

  • I like Tim's screams more then Frank's but their both boss bassist's

  • This is the best live version of this song.

  • nice polo thomas...

    oh yeah GREAT SONG!!!

  • sickest intro ever!!

  • fuck this :) like it

  • Great!Great!Great!

  • 0:27 the guy's face says he clearly just jizzed in his pants.

  • I'm on a Fall of Troy binge until I can get my hands on the Just Like Vinyl album.

  • @UNDERCOVERBLACKheart yeah there is some epic stuff goin' on

  • I would hate to be in a band with Thomas Erak. I would looks soo stupid playing next to him @_@

  • back in the days when the fall of troy was good. with tim ward (even though frank black is cool) and before everyone realized how big of an arrogant asshole thomas erak is.

  • @AlexanderBlueAvenue The thing is you can be an arrogant asshole when you're a god haha

  • @2smart4life I still have lots of hope for this band, Erak did say at one concert that "they're done for now" which can imply something. But I'm excited to see the new band. Well if you look at a lot of older bands today, they've evolved so much from what they started from, for instance Avenged Sevenfold used to be a screamo band but now they're one of the greatest metal bands ever. Maybe in the future they might be something greater, something we can never comprehend right now.

  • 0:58

Those are some sexy shoes. xD

  • omg this is so fucking old, yet they still sounded fucking awsome!

  • Love the polo shirt

  • :( I'm gonna miss them sooo much...

  • noooooo theyre done now..sadness

  • Ahhh, the LP double cut. Sexiest guitar alive. I want one so bad...

  • any ideas what date this was?

  • @phorque2 well, they've still got Tim in this so at least during the times of Manipulator

  • @l337man4 nah this was before manipulator.

  • @ffatboijosh ehhh idk, i love them both, in different ways you know? coheed is more catchy, but like something about fall of troy is insane you feel me? i love them both tho! best tfot song is the last march of the ents and my fav coheed is devil in jersey city or delerium trigger

  • dude, you can't even compare the two. They're both amazing bands with different stylistic approach to music.

  • All time favorite band.

  • All time favorite band.

  • All time favorite band.

  • since everyones naming their fav bands in a list i thought id put in mine.

    The

    Fall

    of

    Troy

  • so instrumentaly talented

  • Thomas Erak is a one man wrecking machine. The ghostship demos are fucken amazing and so is the manipulator cd

  • fucking amazing guitar, ide love to see them live

  • this guys only been playing guitar for 9 years

  • Duck?

  • @99Maic yeahh he sucked mine ust the other night

  • @TheNuKeKid

    jealous :3

  • That crowd looks so boring lol, when I saw TFOT we were moshing like crazy.

  • i saw them with coheed and cambria they were good but coheed wazz like amazing

  • how the fuck does he multitask like that

  • I love The Fall of Troy

  • the crowd SUCKS... but theyre amazing

  • Just because the crowd isn't moving doesn't mean they suck, they could be too entranced in the music to think of anything but watching and absorbing the experience.

  • thomas erak is beyond crazy. i dont know how he can play guitar how he does and sing at the same time. he's way too good.

  • I love The Fall of Troy and this song but i cant help but think Thomas Erak looks kinda out of place in this video. i mean what he is wearing anyway, to me he kinda looks like a screaming school boy in this video. the performance is amazing though

  • @thatasiankid118

I'm pretty sure he can wear whatever the fuck he wants? It's a show not a beauty pageant.

  • @TrifectaStudio i didnt say it was, i wasnt insulting him, i just think it looks contradictory but no, it doesnt affect how he plays. dont get me wrong, i love Thomas Erak

  • then why the hell are you watching this video?

  • the front man is aweesome!

  • these guys sound so much better live than on their records lol

  • damn gudshit

  • fuck you bologna italy

  • i wish the fall of troy was still like this :/

  • @mentalspazms1 I liked the singing from the first album the best. I hope if they get back together they'll realize how awesome the three full lengths were compared to the last (which I'll admit was great but was too different)

  • @XAlphaZEROX Completely agreed on the last statement. Alot of fans say that ITUE is complete garbage but thats only because they're used to the sound that TFOT usually creates. guaranteed if ITUE was the debut album of another band it would be considered a masterpeice.

  • @FreshQRtis i agree, i hate when people start to dislike a band because they decided to change there sound instead of sounding exactly the same for each album, the fall of troy would be sooo boring if they did that.

  • @AKCA49

True, but their new music is shittier, just because it is, not because it's different. Manipulator was a huge change from Doppelganger and as much as I love Doppelganger, I LOVED that change. But ITUE just isn't good. Not because it isn't fast, not because there's less screaming, just the music itself isn't good.

  • @nlo13 Why don't you think ITUE is good? You just say its not good, that's not a good reason at all without a real opinion on what was so bad about it.. at first when I listened to it I thought it was a little weak but it grew on me, there are still a few songs that I'm not too fond of but I wouldn't go so far as to say they are not good. I like and respect all their albums. I personally like the Phantom on the Horizon best though..

  • @SNDproduction look, ITUE wasn't great. it wasn't bad, but it was far from great. most of the songwriting didn't really seem to have much of a point, the vocal approach for the mostpart was lackluster, and Thomas' guitarwork didn't hold a candle to what he accomplished with TFOT's previous efforts. Panic Attack is a good song though. i'm guessing this is what nlo13 meant to say, but just isn't articulate or knowledgeable enough to establish. and Phantom is their best, i agree with you on that.

  • @RomeSkateFoSho I agree for the most part on what you say about ITUE, I read that the vocals were different because Thomas was getting older and he didn't want to stress his vocals as much(somthing like that), which I thought was understandable. I thought that some of the songwriting on a couple songs has some pretty interesting word play though, but I never really looked to FOT for their lyrics that much personally

  • @nlo13 heey man... some bands grown up.. you should think do it too!

  • come on....BMTH steals every band's breakdown.......

  • one of the best intros of any song, ever.

  • fuck BMTH..

  • @wizardroolz awww....

  • @wizardroolz best comment ever

  • god their insturmentals are amazing, im tired of the stupid glamcore/deathcore vocals and all that culture cliche crap...

  • the lead singer is one of the best guitar players i have ever listened to.

  • In my opinion the fall of troy's guitar style is quite similar to biffy clyro's older stuff only most of Thomas Erak's music wouldn't sound as epic with Fender Stratocasters and Simon Neil's with gibson les pauls. If you check out a Biffy Clyro song such as 'there's no such thing as a jaggy snake' or 'toys toys toys choke toys toys toys' you might hear some similarities in the riffs played by both musicians.

  • Dnce gavin Dance The fall of troy Emarosa The number 12 looks like you Sky eats airplane From England: Architects Johnny Truant Bring me the Horizon Gallows Rolo Tomassi

and wheres System Of A Down???

  • wtf fat joe? Why do you listen to c"rap"? and its Chiodos or The Chiodo Bros before they got sued.

  • The crowd sucks..whats the deal?

  • These guys are fucking insane...so good.

  • dude, i need to see these guys live. =DD

  • you nerds lol. Just enjoy the music and stfu lol

  • wow they were in italy!!!!

  • The Fall of Troy Circa Survive A Tribe Called Quest Jimi Hendrix The Doors Led Zeppelin Black Mountain Dead Meadow of Montreal The White Stripes The Red Hot Chili Peppers Tokyo Police Club The Mars Volta James Brown Bob Marley & The Wailers my musical tastes span wider than Oprah's asscrack.
  • Everything you mentioned has its roots in rock and R&B... not a very wide span..

  • dude. just about EVERYTHING has roots in at least blues or r&b. im talking about the different styles. i swear to you now if i show someone who likes James Brown music by Fall of Troy, they would not be pleased... excepting myself.

  • Well that shows how much you know about music history.

fyi, I own several James Brown Lp's and tfot happens to be my fav band currently due to Thom's inovative use of hammer/pull offs and triad usage.

  • well excuse me. and i doubt by assuming that people who like James Brown wouldnt like TFoT makes me musically illiterate. I think its a pretty legit assumption, i mean really, how many people other than you and i do that. and honestly, all current popular music has roots in Blues/Gospel/Country/R&B.

  • Pretenciousness and arrogance leaks out of your arse my friend. I think youll find there are many other music lovers in the world, possibly your street, that listen to bands you think theyve never heard of. You think your part of a cool little clique knowing them? sorry to get involved but this tossy little battle, and some of your statements, were annoying me. okamasphere youve done no wrong haha not aimed at you.

  • ...relax. just because i dont assume everyone knows good music doesnt mean i think im the only one, or that theres a secret little "clique" as you put it that i like that listen to certain types of music. Jesus dude, most people listen to pop, thats why its pop... i think thats a pretty valid assumption. this whole argument stemmed from okamasphere taking my Oprah joke to a new level. JUST because i said i listen to a wide span of music. i know plenty of people who i think listen to good music..

  • i guess i pissed you off when i said "except myself" a couple times. sorry.

  • ... excuse me but radiohead is the best band this world has ever seen

  • ummm thats where ur wrong

  • This is a pretty random list (The Pillows, lolwut?) with pretty good bands so I can get behind it. But Blink 182, wtf? Also, Slayer only had one good song.

  • the pillows is a great band, and whats the one slayer song thats good?

  • I didn't mean to say that I had a problem with the Pillows' inclusion on your list; in fact, they are one of my favorites also.

The one good Slayer song is Raining Blood, and It would do you well to check out the multitude of much better metal bands, some of which are Opeth, Meshuggah, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Agalloch.
