@AduIfHitIar I used to watch the beginning of the Dennis the Menace cartoon where they go into a haunted house and get chased by a ghost only to fall through a trap door and land in a mining cart with a boulder chasing them a la Indiana Jones. I watched that cartoon everyday wanting to see that episode but it never existed. The show was always way more boring than the intro, so I think that clips from the show can make a good intro. I like to watch this clip when I use hallucinogenic drugs!

They invested in a ton of Filmmation properties. They had Jayce n the Wheeled Warriors, it expired :( Robotech is expiring July 1, hopefully it comes back. Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite. Stream them to put on Netflix's radar n support retro!

Season 1 and Season 2 are on Netflix. Netflix SUCKS, it's a dismal disappointment. However I keep it along with my Blockbuster online and get the best of both worlds (BB online rents games, and to gamers that's a dream come true). But I keep NF for the TV shows mainly, more than the movies. NF movies suck. BUT, they have Season 1 and Season 2 of The Ghostbusters online now (This one , not the Slimer one).

I miss truly unique toons like this. I wish The Hub, WGN Retro, or Cartoon Network would focus on getting blocks of these to air on Saturday & Sunday Mornings. Imagine the ratings they could get. All the retro fans now have kids, nephews, young cousins. We would watch, then also get the kids in our family to watch it. Networks would make money on shows they don't even pay to produce now. Why can't they get that in their heads? Thumbs this up, and email this idea to the networks over and over.

@tbird249 I know, since I made the above post I found that out a couple of months ago and have been making that annoucnement under other retro vids since then. Hoping others would see it, then stream them all putting them up on Netflix's radar encouraging them to get more retro toons. I see that Robotech will expire on July 1. Hopefully it will get picked back up soon after that like some shows are. Prison Break expired, but was renewed the very next day .
Had to post to correct some incorrect postings. This cartoon is based on the 1975 live action show, literally starring two guys (and one in a mokey suit). Ivan Reitman, in the 80s, came out with a movie that had nothing to do with this cartoon or Filmation. Filmation Made this cartoon about the movie was out. They sued the movie studio for possible copyright infringement, and the settlement literrally paved the way for future classics. This show isnt that great but its nobody's fake.

My local tv guide had this show listed as "Ghostbusters", while "The Real Ghostbusters" was listed as "R. Ghostbusters".
I can't imagine how confusing it would've been for kids of that era.

Check out "The Ghost Busters 1975" here on youtube. There's your answer.
It was a 70's tv series. Later led to this cartoon. And the MOVIE which you refer to was made in 1984 and had to pay settlements later for using the same name as this thing.
Btw, didn't I explain that in the last post. I think I made myself very clear, unless you're suffering from some Attention Disorder Disease from watching too many flashy mangas.

@Ralokone OR, some people have different tastes than you and really do like this one better, perhaps because "The Real Ghostbusters" doesn't appeal to their unconventional tastes. I mean, I'm totally with you on which is better; the Filmation version is quite lame by comparison. But some people can appreciate the irreverence of Tracy the damn gorilla (ugh).
But so what? As a kid, I liked both cartoons.

Season 1 and Season 2 are on Netflix. Netflix SUCKS, it's a dismal disappointment. However I keep it along with my Blockbuster online and get the best of both worlds (BB online rents games, and to gamers that's a dream come true). But I keep NF for the TV shows mainly, more than the movies. NF movies suck. BUT, they have Season 1 and Season 2 of The Ghostbusters online now (This one , not the Slimer one).

I miss truly unique toons like this. I wish The Hub, WGN Retro, or Cartoon Network would focus on getting blocks of these to air on Saturday & Sunday Mornings. Imagine the ratings they could get. All the retro fans now have kids, nephews, young cousins. We would watch, then also get the kids in our family to watch it. Networks would make money on shows they don't even pay to produce now. Why can't they get that in their heads? Thumbs this up, and email this idea to the networks over and over.

@tbird249 I know, since I made the above post I found that out a couple of months ago and have been making that annoucnement under other retro vids since then. Hoping others would see it, then stream them all putting them up on Netflix's radar encouraging them to get more retro toons. I see that Robotech will expire on July 1. Hopefully it will get picked back up soon after that like some shows are. Prison Break expired, but was renewed the very next day .

Had to post to correct some incorrect postings. This cartoon is based on the 1975 live action show, literally starring two guys (and one in a mokey suit). Ivan Reitman, in the 80s, came out with a movie that had nothing to do with this cartoon or Filmation. Filmation Made this cartoon about the movie was out. They sued the movie studio for possible copyright infringement, and the settlement literrally paved the way for future classics. This show isnt that great but its nobody's fake.
