I was from Elling Primary School in Upper Paya Lebar. The school was shut down in 1996 due to lack of enrollment.

There were many Nepalese Gurkhas student in Elling Primary. I am a Gurkha by the way.

I missed those times.

There was this rotten English teacher (can't remember her name but she wore a slanted spec) who was my P1 form teacher in 1985. That bitch refused to share the food and sweets for those who didn't bring any during teacher's day. I had my share because my grandma bought a big bag of tibits in the last minute. We were only 7 years old for goodness sake! Can u imagine the psy. harm in those who can only looked at the rest enjoying the food & sweets. She's a true disgrace to the teaching profession.

Do any former RVPS students still remember the two muppets: principal Mrs Foo and vice-principal Mr Kong during the late 80's and 90's? Those were the corrupted years under their helm... Hope they have no part in the current education system now. I'll put in more names of rotten teachers during my time, if I can still remember. Feel free to share your experience with us.
