@MrKingHari I think not... Shinai was manufactured to reduce the number of severe injuries when bokken is used

@MrKingHari Severe meaning broken bones, highly unlikely... the shinai will break before bones do, however it is useful for self defense as it is more than strong enough to knock out or hurt someone...

Que quede muy claro que con el video no te bastará para poder fabricar algo remoto a un auténtico shinai, porque de seguro no solo necesitas las herramientas y los materiales (que de por si según veo, son estrictamente especificados), sino además necesitarás experiencia y saber el como y porque de cada uno de los procedimientos y elementos que se añaden. Pero igual, a favoritos...
