  • Yngwie, G.Guthrie, Sfogli, Petrucci, Satriani, Hammet, Gilbert, and all guitarrists to immitate this short list (almost of million like Timmons and EVH too...) never they'll belong to the Morse's School. And they know it.

  • Very good, steve morse bigest

  • wow F****ng awesome

  • As great as this is it is too tame compared to the Ricky skaggs version. Now that one cooks!

  • a very versatile guitarist indeed

  • Awesome!

  • As a University of Tennessee student/fan and a huge Steve Morse fan, this is awesome.

  • Tony Hawk playing keys.

  • Indeed, three masters Morse, LaRue,and T-Lavitz. Where was Rod Morgenstern?Oh well, they sound amazing, You know I like this better than Yngwies endless noodling I mean he's great, but this stuff is exciting and has more depth, substance and down to earth pleasantness than endless cold Baroque scales that although fast and precise don't offer warmth and feeling like this Bluegrass type fare.I know i'll get blasted by Yngwie fans and I'm one too but that is only MY opinion.Where can I buy the DVD?

  • @alcatras4 Van Romaine is the drummer (though, am afraid am unaware, if he in fact, still is percussionist/drummer to this day - of the Steve Morse Band)

  • Thanks for posting. I have the DVD and it is awesome. Three masters of their instruments.

  • heeeeey plz who's the BASS player????

  • Hahaha well kids, there's one of the best bass solos ever.

  • Nice to see a song that has been played to death given new life by Steve and friends.

  • The Osborne Brothers are my granny's cousins, from southwest V.A. We are proud as hell down here, also the home of The Carter family and Dr. Ralph Stanley.

  • he's a fucking alternate picking monster. :-D Awesome per4mance.

  • No, the name is correct. It's a song by The Osborne Brothers.

  • Rocky Top is a bluegrass standard that's been around for decades. How many guitar players outside the country arena have the balls to try and pull that off? Not many. Steve is phenomenal. End of story.

  • The name is Rocky Top from The Osbourne Brothers. It seems to be a folk song from tenesee.

  • that's not The Bash

  • Hello. I'm brazilian and couldnt understand what steve says before start playing. Can anyone here tell me?

  • He says 'two bars up front', referring to the count in (2 bars of 4/4)

  • Thanx for your help.

  • I think it can be downloaded from iTunes now actually. By all means though buy the DVD & put more money in Steve's pocket. Not that he'll probably need it with his current day job :)

  • @801mils rocky top is an ooolll country/bluegrass tune with lyrics actually.. great song its about rocky top Tennessee.. look it up. this is just a Morse arrangement of it.
