Whew, this fight brings back some terrifying memories. Thank goodness the camera actually lets you see what's happening with everyone! I played through the game twice with two different people (after playing it once solo), and we NEVER challenged these guys. It would have sucked trying to be a Presea comboing blind offscreen. I say you two did a great job, and nice teamwork!

@iasHchem In the PS2 version, everybody gets a Mystic Arte, Like Colette's Holy Judgement and Genis's Indignation Judgement.

The PS2 version fixes the camera glitch in the original Gamecube game, so that you can actually see everyone in multiplayer. In the original, it would only focus on P1, whereas in the PS2 it zooms out properly for any human players. It only focuses on P1 if you're playing alone but you can change the zoom manually IIRC.

Yesterday I was playing with my friend and I using colette.. It's to difficult to face wodorrow with colette @_@.. And I face nurse, meteor and time stop.. But luckily, I'm not using any items and my party didn't die during the battle..

Yeah, this battle wasn't even close to easy for me when I played this, even with friends we got owned. Very amazing multi-player video, loved it and I enjoyed the ass kicking Regal in the backround. It's not ridiculously long but it's not short like the other crappy cameo battle videos that are absolutely one-sided level 255, maxed Devil's Arms bs.

Since I was that "ass-kicking" Regal in the background your comment is appreciated. I pretty much agree with everything you said in the comment. I cringed when people claimed this battle was easy especially under NIND terms but using devil arms, etc.

i did not expect this battle to be as hard as it was on mania (and i was using items) we had Zelos, Lloyd and Genis, took 3 tries, first time i did not expect Meredy to use resurrection and FORGOT that she picks herself up after being killed

it was mostly Farah V Zelos, Garr V Genis and me as Lloyd trying to get rid of the mage person

in the end it was an awesome battle, can't wait to do it again

@KievenTeo Yep, I think the incantation usually stays the same or almost the same in the Japanese versions of the game. So easy to recognize :)

Another thing I love about this video is, and I apologize the triple post, but the use of anything BUT Kratos' boring stab techs and stupid Colette, FINALLY a Raine with Holy Lance, and an actually bad ass unisen. I cringe at Mjollnir, Photon Blast, and Star Rain, the most overused faggoty unisens in YT vids. Regal's aireal combos are just so bad ass. They look awesome, and people never use him, they always use the stupidest characters (with the exception of Presea). I really appreciate the vid.

First, yes the triple demon fang was Demonic Chaos in the English version, and thank you very much for the appreciation for the work that went into this. I'm glad you like it so much, as well as the kicking FIEND Regal played by Clip. Indeed it is a crazy and difficult battle, and made so much better with co-op and without broken devil arms. Also rofl @ stupid Colette and the unisons. Refreshing.

And why did you just stand and block, even after being safely healed? Why not start to smack the rest on Farah or Meri?

@CatMuto Really now? Considering the challenge presented in the run it would be rather dumb to try that typical mash A after blocking tatic most people seem to do. Even when nurse is being casted the enemies are still attacking and if enemies tend to get priority in stunning in tales games. Its effective strategy to wait until the correct time to strike back.

@dagoldenclip2 No, I understand not attacking while being in the red. But once you've been healed you can attack again - or at least use far-range skills.

Considering this is mania mode the damage output Farah and Woodrow put out is ridiculous if they are lucky enough to get a hit off, which WILL happen if you go trying for unguarded combos. Plus what skills do Lloyd and Regal have that are considered "far range" and effective enough to kill them off? Hell Farah can easily throw maximum burst if I was dumn enough to try to apply excess pressure while Woodrow can throw dankuuken at any given notice.

It always dissapointed me in how easy this battle was. And, ya know, the sub-par voice actors they got for the cameos in the english version.

@DreamSword I never found this battle easy to be honest. Though I haven't fought it much to begin with, I always thought it was one of the hardest fights in the game.

And I actually enjoyed the voice actors in the english version. The only problems with them imo was that Meredy sounded a bit older and Farah sounded a bit younger than they did in Eternia :/. Also how can you hate HALE GALE ?

@Vercsase I guess part of it was just hearing so different of voices after having gotten used to Destiny and Eternia. For a more detailed account of my opinion on the voices for the three, it basically goes that I think Farah's' new one sucked, Meredy's' was alright, and Garr's' just made me go "Wait what?"

As for the battle, I dunno, I just never had any trouble with it. my team for them was Zelos, Regal, and Lloyd though, so I dunno.

@DreamSword This battle is only easy if you over level into the 18x and/or if you use the hacked cursed arms and/or abuse items. This is the hardest battle of the game because it is a 3 on 3, not the usual 4 on 1. You are obviously the utmost retarded person I know if you have the audacity to say that this is easy. Keep trolling dumb ass.
