It can't be Best Friend Sword, since you can buy two, and you can't have two best friends.

Can't be Big Fucking Sword, since you can upgrade it so the logical name for the upgrades would be E.B.F Sword. Even Bigger Fucking Sword, which the name of them are not.

SO. Back in the old days Kat used to stack B.F's, and then upgraded them to BT's. So, B.F = Boy Friend, because when you get more than two they usually get bloodthirsty.
