I think the success of the film was simply to highlight to some people some of the everyday pressures and attitudes of many people. Things that those very people would never see or admit to in the world as it REALLY is. Just like the maid being dismissed disrespectfully, or the comments and the general way the guests looked down on another race....very interesting. I am sure many people who have posted comments have not seen the movie. Funny how the movie is never on TV either....
