The only thing I would argue with is Israel launching a pre-emptive strike. In reality there were Fayadeen raids into Israel & other terrorist activity within Israel’s borders leading up to the war. In his autobiography, Abba Eban gives a detailed account of events leading up to the war & he stated that the IDF personnel who were monitoring radar reported an Egyptian fighter jet encroaching on Israeli air space & that Israel’s air force was immediately sent out in response.
