@Sonnyxleet The point us "Fanboys" are trying to make is, that CM are being exploitative mother-fuckers. They could have easily made a co-operative, semi-realistic militarized shooter themselves with their own IP but instead they buy OP Flash, widely considered to be the greatest war-game ever for it's dynamic, random and authentic gameplay as well as a community and an editor that couldn't be found anywhere else. These guys tried to bring it to consoles. But gave up and are doing this pish.

It looks like this is already sucking the dick of COD. No Heli's, XP buying, no new commands- they have fucking ruined it. I personally loved DR apart from the fucked up AI but I could live with the graphics and the rigid movement, now they look like ghosts floating at warp speed! So if it doesn't appeal to me, a fan of the franchise-and it doesn't appeal to you guys-the critics of the franchise, who exactly does it appeal to? I dont want it to be like COD or MOH or BC I want Operation FP!!!

the reason why we critique it so much, is because CM is trying to take advantage of the franchise name and make a buck off the hard work of the original Flashpoint developers.

OFP was developed by Bohemia Interactive, CM only purchased the rights to the name. what really angers me is that they continue to play it off as if they developed the original. using music from the original is LOW CM.

How about fire this Sion Lenton (tell him to get a dental check as well) And then google "Battlefield 2 Project Reality" and take a few points from a mod that actually is creative and fun. You got all the nice wizzbangs and "features" but totally lost it when it comes to the balance of realism and fun. As well as currently using a VERY VERY OLD gaming engine. Despite all that, they manage to produce finer products.
