I'm listening to this song for the first time right now and I think Michael Jackson was going to make a comeback of enormous proportions if he hadn't died. It has some of the strongest qualities of all his past work. The lyrics at times are powerful and emotional like his later stuff, while also having some elements of his beginnings with the Jackson Five, while the tempo and overall feel of the music reminds me of his early solo career such as The Way You Make Me Feel.

That's what music should be. Feeling. And, music is feeling. That is why people love music so much... It's an emotion, or a cure. Music can alter a person's mood, it's proven. That's why, I dislike songs about sex or drugs... Music should be influential, and lovely. This is a perfect example.
