@CURBECK I know what you mean, it's pretty cool. But my best friend is oxyacetylene. Both, however, can be difficult to use in some situations. I don't use the torque multiplier very often but it makes some tasks a lot easier.
@mrjost55 Every spring and fall I swap winter rims and tires on my wife's car, and this was an opportune time to do the multiplier vid. Now that we are moving to a warmer area of Canada, we won't have much use for winter tires, but I'll probably keep them anyway. I'm not looking forward to the timing belt on the Hybrid, as I don't have any experience with a 600V system.
I actually prefer my 98 Dodge Ram. Old cars have more character, they have less plastic, and they are usually easier to fix.
@DirTyOhGee Yeah, I know. Even with a torch those are bears. Say, I like your videos of the Ranger engine rebuild. My son has one of those, so I'll bookmark your files for future reference.
@spelunkerd Thanks man...its my first rebuild also. Ive always done my own starters, batteries, alternators, etc. This ranger has been sitting in my yard for 4 years with a chipped valve so I just heck with it I going for it!!! Not nearly as hard as I thought...more videos soon!!! Thanks again spelunkerd!
This thing is my best friend.

@Ibringthetruth1 For sure. That planetary gear thing is really cool, but I don't see why they should cost so much. Maybe a copyright issue....

Talk to your shop about bolt psi.
Use anti-seize on nuts and bolts.

@Ibringthetruth1 Antiseize is great. But usually I find myself trying to undo a bolt that was put in place a decade ago in another continent.
