Been trying to remember the name of these moves for a long time. All I could recall was Hercuies, some wierd future drug, and Sheena Easton. My god, how could I have forgotten vanishing son. Thanks for putting this up. Ahh, the good ol days.
I love thiis theme. I watch all 4 tek war , all 5 hercules and vanishing sun 1-4 movies on encore action channel. I was actually surprise and excited. They brought back memories of the 90's. I hope encore continue to show more movies from the action pack.
I miss this!! A MAJOR part of my Saturdays!! Ahh.....the 90s! After I'd watch this it was off to the Lion's Park water park to ogle girls back when bikinis were still sexy!! Seriously, remember all the high-cut swimwear back then! Then a stop at Blockbuster video to rent a snes game to play the rest of the night! Vanishing Son is what made me wanna learn martial arts!!
Tekwar on Dvd, at last all of the complete Tekwar Series on dvd, including the never before released 4 tv movies. Other dvd sets of Tekwar in the past have not included the 4 tv movies, that came before the show. Now they are all on a 7 disc set here in Canada.
-Walks slowly with my friends, Fire in the back ground. We all hold guns squinting in the light, one friend trips in slow mo, the other stop to tie his shoe. I pause as wind blows thru my hair- ^_^
some of the action pack movies are coming on dvd i have found the bandit movies with brian bloom. they where with the smokey and the bandit seven pack at wal mart for 20 dollars and the mmidnight run movies with christopher mcdonald are come in a 4 pack with the robert deniro midnight run in earky 2011. good hunting
@theviperlegendkiller I just picked up the Smokey and the Bandit 7 movie pack last week. Hard to believe that a "simple" television movie could out do a major theatrical release (alright, maybe not). Too bad Bandit was not picked up for a series.
@RedKnightofCXF i thought it was, i remember several episodes, like the one where he was helping the circus/carnival and discovered that several of the carasel horse's were stuffed with silver bars, thats the episode i remember
Oh man, I totally remember this. I still have old vhs tapes that my dad had recorded Hercules on for me and he remembered to include this bit in it xD
I just have one question, does anyone have the full version of this song man, cause that is all I need the full version of this song, so please if anyone has it, please let me know, thanks!!!
These were the coolest, especially liked Hercules and Vanishing son! Tek Wars was cool also. I think the series I love (the one my channel is based off) would have done extremely well had it been part of this, it was just ahead of its time methinks. Thanks for posting these memories!
I have'nt seen this "Action Pack" logo and the shows since the 90's, thank god for Universal television, and three shows I saw:Xena,Hercules, and Vanishing Son, 5stars for this logo, and btw I also seen "Tekwar" with Bill Shatner, good tv movie, until it was a tv series.
I remember this theme, I loved it, been looking for it. Vanishing Son was one of my favorites from this series of pilot movies. I agree, too bad they are not on video anywhere. Univerisal needs to put these out as an "ACTION PACK" DVD package or something.
You know, I'm a big catchy theme fan, and I have to say this is really a great theme. I actually found this video looking for the theme song to Tek War, pretty rare i know. Another great theme. I could almost see Jerry Goldsmith writing this. It's fantastic, has an almost Remo Williams feel to me.
A few of these show accully was series on tv Bandit was and so was Hercules became a hit series. Can anyone hlep me out on a Action Pack series it was about a cop that travled for the futuer to the present to bring back criminals to the year 2042 or 2142 and he had a halgram assent named Selma(I think)if anyone tell me the name of it and post the intro of it on here I will thank you alot cause I got the them in my head for some odd reason.
great times of the action pack logo i so miss 12 years ago when this was with herc and xena. i would watch it every friday and catch the re-run on saturdays. god i miss being 18 again.
oh yeah..the good old days. I remember every saturday and sunday afternoon Hercules and xena and tek war and vanishing son.If you were 14 or 15 at the time, those were about the coolest things you had ever seen on TV. why the hell is nothing like this for kids to watch now?! damn reality shows...

lol I remember this. I was like 13 or 14 when this was on but this was when public television was good and you didn't need cable just to see some good tv. Its a shame it didn't stay on long because those shows were entertaining.
the 3 midnight run tv movies and the 4 bandit tv movies are now on dvd.

The series you're thinking of was Time Trax, and it wasn't an Action Pack series but rather a PTEN (Prime Time Entertainment Network) series.
Just type in Time Trax and it'll be on youtube and I also think it's on retrojunk as well.
