  • Why don't you stop the music and start explaing how to draw???anyways awesome drawing

  • its a really great drawing, but when i tried to draw it, mine looked like an alien!!!?!

  • Thank you! I had to "create" baby photos of our adopted son for him to complete a time line project at school. I was able to use your video, along with the earliest photos we have of him, to create his "baby" pictures. Thank you!!

  • WHAT PROGRAM DO U USE TELL US SO WE CAN DRAW AS FAST MAN!

  • You fucking idiot you I'm trying to draw this on regular paper slow down !

  • @MzBraria slow down, geez relax. if you want to do that, then pause the video

  • It's amazing to see how those ugly lines turns to beautiful babies.... Hat off!

  • that is so good

  • are you a graduate of fine arts or your still studying

  • these techniques can be applied in both anime and realistic

  • im 100 like ;p

    i LOVE this babies

  • Thank you very much, great proportion guide...exactly what I needed!

  • nice

  • how do you the blinking;)?

  • using an an animation tool

  • Brilliant tutorial - very easy to follow and self explanatory. Thank you.

  • I love the blinking at the end! You draw amazingly!

  • Thank You!!!!

  • lmfaoo bigg as bby head roflll

  • kool vid

  • you have talent but becareful on how you detail cuz you make look really wierd by the lips nose and the ears are uneven but other than that it was great :)

  • WHAT TALENT, i draw too, and i'm very good, you can see my drawings here, chiiisai-sakura.skyrock.c om ^^

  • Portrait classes never teach how to draw kids, whose proportions differ from adults (see 4:12). And yet portrait commissions are so often for children. So students are left to figure it out the hard way... or they may get lucky and find this instructional video!

  • the music gives it a new born feeling lol

  • great! love the little blinking touch at the end :)

  • oh man, i especially like the profile!

  • you draw ver well!

i am brasilian, and don't speak english very well,...

    your work is perfect!

    i don't have words...

  • the animation at the end surprised me a little bit, but it was a nice touch!

  • the lips look kinda weird

  • not really. in real life look at a baby. thats what lips look like.

  • well, I've seen alot of babies, and their lips look nothing like the first picture

  • obviously not.

the mind doesnt remember details whether you want it to or not. look at a picture.

  • you look kinda weird too.

  • awsome thanks so much for this ! Realy helpful ;)

  • hahaha! You're an awesome drawer! You really have the hang of proportions! :3 Thanks for uploading!

  • which camtasia do u use

  • Awesome!

  • thnx so much! this helped me soo much in Adult s

  • ive been doing your drawing just sitting here at work....they acually look pretty decent...i play with the lines a bit so the faces are a little more anime style, but for some reason i can't get ears or eyes right...not sure why (insides of ears) and i am just not good at eyes....(i am also doing this with a crappy #2 pencil and a pink eraser ;)

  • IT'S THE GERBER BABY!!

  • Ur so good!

  • awsome you rock sycra

  • Nice!!

  • I'm watching a ton of your videos and following along on with you with my sketch pad and trusty HB pencil. It is so incredible! Thanks!!!!

  • oh wow. That's awesome. I wish I could do that. You are a great artist

  • cavey89 your wrong. If the structure is correct then the rest is left up to the artist. Yes you have to be able to draw more than just one type of person but to ignore the learning process and structures of anatomy is moronic, and ahatefu your a moron.. plain and simple! You are obviously no artist because artists don't talk shit about someone else's art. A TRUE artist understands the struggle of learning.. If you feel you have a critique say it but giving us one word is a waste of time.

  • Stylistic ignorance is such a silly thing to argue about. If he wants to waste time "unlearning" things, let him. If you learn something to better your craft, there is never reason to completely throw it away.

  • is this done with a tablet PC?

  • that is so cool

  • mejor cada vez que estudias?

  • If only they were more detailed, but thanks for making this video anyways, its alot of help

  • its nice, i would recomend trying to draw without the guides and draw by eye and what feels write at the time, these measurements are a guide. It is important to keep this in mind and not to restrict yourself by these measurements. If you are drawing from life not every one is the same there is slight differences so you cant follow this 100% and if you are drawing from imagenation this restricts you to drawing something which is likely to be unorifinal. You can do it well though no offence. x

  • It's a valid point, but not very useful when applied to a teaching video. Most of the time I don't use guidelines when drawing at all. But when first learning, guidelines can help beginners learn basic structure. Once memorized, it is far easier to locate the minutia that character is made of. Guidelines are a point of departure, and I think most people realize that. They are lines, not chains.

  • I disagree. Everything in life is different, yes, but I think we can all agree that eyes go above the nose and nose above the mouth.

I'd agree if Sycra would be using a ruler drawing these guidelines, but with a "more or less" attitude, the guidelines only amplify the realism. For example, I never knew that for an adult human, the ear goes in between the eye-line and the nose-line, but 98% of the cases, that is true. The lines amplify the realism.

  • @cavey89 even professionals are using guidelines through their works guidelines itmakes the drawing accurate and more correct you are really great if you can draw without using guidelines and also it is the fundamental basics most of guidelines are use when drawing a object in motion it can determine the movement the position of a person or animal some beginners didn't even use guidelines but if they will just try to learn im not a professional im 16 yrs old fine arts students thats all thank s

  • ITS SOOO CUT3 ^^

  • great one ! :D

  • Personally, now that i think about it, I'd like to see more drawings of side views. I suck at them. And not enough people talk about them.

  • babies are weird! but good job, i didnt know how to draw them well.

  • mario RPG, clean. you always got good music selection.... and.. art of course.

  • Soopar Maryo RPG FTW!!!

  • good job..

  • i wish you did a tutorial on how to draw facial perspectives that would be VERY!! helpful not only for me but i think for alot of other people

  • Loved the end!

  • WHOA ANIMATION AT THE END! Nice touch man good job

  • FIRST!!!! DURRRR.. (lol just kidding)

This is probably the first how-to video on drawing babies i've seen. Probably because they're so creepy.

Great work as always. Could you do a video on Facial Expressions? That would be very neat!

  • THANKYOU! Babies ARE ugly!

  • Well... You were a baby once so... what does that tell us... Hmmmmm...

  • I never said I wasn't ugly...ugly.

  • Yep I'm hideous and proud :)

    Get A Life...

  • Hey asshole! I have a... oops nevermind. I just remembered that I'm a gamer.

  • Yeah exactly what I was thinking...

  • ...are you seriously offended...I was joking...WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW...
