This was back in the days of when I was actively "stripping" as a form of income thus I did so everyday and even multiple times during a shift. Now-days because I am retired I brush it when I need to brush it which is once a day or every second or third day. As for washing it, I wash it every day - whether shampoo + conditioner or just shampoo.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that website until my current hosting expires so as I can do a big re do. For this reason, I do not recommend Dreamhost ! In the meantime, look up my username on MySpace as that is the one I keep up 2 date.

Thank you for the offer. Are you Gold Coast based or able to make it to the Gold Coast ? Do you have any experience in trimming hair ? For the sake of the health of my hair I would love it if you trimmed only an inch off... and in return for your hair cutting service you get to keep the hair.
Feel free to contact me when I do finally give it a trim as I have not given it a trim in .. um.. 5-6 years now. Only because I have not needed to do so as it hasn't had any split ends. These days because I think it is starting to get to a point where it won't grow any longer thus there are some split ends.
I don't think I'm going to be able to grow it to "classic length" (aka just past my ass cheeks) unless I do get it trimmed to help the growth.

My hair is naturally straight. Just like anyone with straight hair I always long to have some curls or at least a wave or something to give it "personality" ... None the less, I accept the compliments. As for trimming it, it does need a trim and I will post the video on here when and if it does get a trim.

6 years and still growing! I hardly use any hair products I guess that is my secret ? I stay away from Pantene and any products that have silicon in them as they actually make your hair weaker as soon as you stop using them! I rarely blow dry. Allow the sun to touch my scalp without over exposure. Brush daily. Shampoo + Condition when needed.

Please have a scroll through some of my responses to other comments to pick up some advice from myself as well as other people :-D Plus, do realise, not everyone is "blessed" with the genes for long hair.
Without brushing my hair I would be living with a birds nest. Seriously. It is the way you brush your hair that will damage it. The way I brush my hair in these videos is NOT the way I do so normally (off camera). I am "rushing" to make the videos short thus the reason I do not recommend how I brush my hair in these videos.
How I brush my hair normally is I start bottom to top and do so in a more gentler fashion.
Hey :-) as you will see with my other "long hair" videos I have done .. it has grown. I am going to finally post an update as I feel it has been long enough so that everyone can see if there has been any changes (growth, etc). I plan to do a "shampoo" (in the shower) type of video.
Whilst I may not to that with my hair you just gave me a wonderful idea in what to do with all the cat hair at my place! Currently three cats reside at my home with two fo them mine. One of them is a long haired cat. I've always wanted to do something with all of his hair that I brush off... didn't realise birds would do that! Awesome. :-D

The shampoo and conditioner I frequently use is Herbal Essences however I do change this around as sometimes my hair may not like it. I refuse to ever use Pantene. Stay the hell awya from that!! As for hair brush, whichever hair brush is handy and usually bought from the supermarket. Awesome question. Thank you :)
LOL, I use Pantene Relaxed and Natural conditioner all the time. I don't use the shampoo as it has sulfates. I use an organic shampoo from Aubrey Organics. I use Pantene as a leave-in conditioner. Why don't you use it?

Oooh! I'll look out for those shampoos and conditioners. I was also told Pantene Shampoo and Conditioners also coat your hair with silicon thus as soon as you stop using it - your hair starts to break again. This came from a couple of hairdressers and hair stylists.
I agree - go as natural as you can in your budget. Keep the hair conditioned. Know your hair. Do not overwash it.

Thank you for the offer. Are you Gold Coast based or able to make it to the Gold Coast ? Do you have any experience in trimming hair ? For the sake of the health of my hair I would love it if you trimmed only an inch off... and in return for your hair cutting service you get to keep the hair.

Feel free to contact me when I do finally give it a trim as I have not given it a trim in .. um.. 5-6 years now. Only because I have not needed to do so as it hasn't had any split ends. These days because I think it is starting to get to a point where it won't grow any longer thus there are some split ends.
I don't think I'm going to be able to grow it to "classic length" (aka just past my ass cheeks) unless I do get it trimmed to help the growth.

My hair is naturally straight. Just like anyone with straight hair I always long to have some curls or at least a wave or something to give it "personality" ... None the less, I accept the compliments. As for trimming it, it does need a trim and I will post the video on here when and if it does get a trim.

6 years and still growing! I hardly use any hair products I guess that is my secret ? I stay away from Pantene and any products that have silicon in them as they actually make your hair weaker as soon as you stop using them! I rarely blow dry. Allow the sun to touch my scalp without over exposure. Brush daily. Shampoo + Condition when needed.

i wanted to ask you if you have any tips, my daughter is 7 and has only ever had her hair trimmed by about an inch every 6-8weeks but it has now reached her lower back and seems to hav stopped growing, yours is beautifull never cut it please! and if you have any tips can you let me know, thanks

Without brushing my hair I would be living with a birds nest. Seriously. It is the way you brush your hair that will damage it. The way I brush my hair in these videos is NOT the way I do so normally (off camera). I am "rushing" to make the videos short thus the reason I do not recommend how I brush my hair in these videos.
How I brush my hair normally is I start bottom to top and do so in a more gentler fashion.

Hey :-) as you will see with my other "long hair" videos I have done .. it has grown. I am going to finally post an update as I feel it has been long enough so that everyone can see if there has been any changes (growth, etc). I plan to do a "shampoo" (in the shower) type of video.

once you get it cut, save it and put it outside for birds to use in their nests- i do that with my cat's hair in spring when I brush his coat out

Whilst I may not to that with my hair you just gave me a wonderful idea in what to do with all the cat hair at my place! Currently three cats reside at my home with two fo them mine. One of them is a long haired cat. I've always wanted to do something with all of his hair that I brush off... didn't realise birds would do that! Awesome. :-D

Oi. As I have repeated over and over, I did it quickly for the purpose of this video (and because I didn't know how much time I would have the change room to myself). Normally I have time and brush from bottom to top. Plus, I don't have any split ends.

The shampoo and conditioner I frequently use is Herbal Essences however I do change this around as sometimes my hair may not like it. I refuse to ever use Pantene. Stay the hell awya from that!! As for hair brush, whichever hair brush is handy and usually bought from the supermarket. Awesome question. Thank you :)

LOL, I use Pantene Relaxed and Natural conditioner all the time. I don't use the shampoo as it has sulfates. I use an organic shampoo from Aubrey Organics. I use Pantene as a leave-in conditioner. Why don't you use it?
BTW, thanks for the videos as I am growing my hair that long and your videos give me inspiration.

Oooh! I'll look out for those shampoos and conditioners. I was also told Pantene Shampoo and Conditioners also coat your hair with silicon thus as soon as you stop using it - your hair starts to break again. This came from a couple of hairdressers and hair stylists.
I agree - go as natural as you can in your budget. Keep the hair conditioned. Know your hair. Do not overwash it.

Whilst I am going to eventually one day cut my hair back up to "just below the shoulder" in length (just like I will one day get my first tattoo), it isn't anytime soon. I've decided to just keep growing it and see how long it can go before it really cannot be grown any longer. :-D
