Jus made one , two arm set up still have to get the clamps , made a video you can search lazze clamp , brilliant idea !

@bogzdodge I imagine trailer hitch balls would work, if you have access to them and they are cheaper than ball bearings. The threaded part may eliminate the machine work and welding, but also increase the weight. Send me photos if you use them and I put them here!

Hows about using trailer hitch balls to build one of these (those small secondary ones) ?

Nice jig! A good solution to holding an irregular shape like a fender.

The ball joints and plates are identical to those used by stop motion animators for the puppet armatures, only yours are much bigger!
