this makes no sense how could broly be the legendary super sayain when he was born on the same day as goku how could vegeta even hear stories of him when vegeta was born before broly? I know the movie timeline is fucked up in dbz but wow, vegeta even said in the freiza saga that the legendary super sayain could only retain his super sayain status as an oozaru then he blew up their original planet, I think Broly is just a decedent of the legendary super sayain actually.

@IraqiDude321 You are right. The creators fixed the plot with this one. It isnt really broly who is the legendary super saiyan anymore. Its goku's father. When he supposedly got killed by frieza, he was sent back into time to fight frieza's predecessor. King chilled killed all the people who helped out Bardock when he was injured and that turned him into a super saiyan. He messed up King chilled bad and he retreated to his ship but died to the injuries.
