  • Hilarious! I'm learning Blender right now. I love it! I've been at it for a few weeks now. Videos like this inspire me and keep me on track.

  • Pretty good. Spotted an animation error, when blinking the left eye is still partially visible

  • Oh yeah, can't believe I didn't see that before... Oh well, this is quite old, I think I might re-rig him (including IPO driven shape keys this time :-) thanks for pointing it out.

  • omg i had the up all the way my ears...

  • lol, nice! How long did that take you to make? And how long to learn blender? *****

  • lol

  • how long have you been doing animation

  • I started around October 07. This was actually my first animated character.

  • holy crap coool!!! :P

  • Hey, is this easier than Bryce 3d or Carrara? (products of Daz Studio) I tried Bryce and it was rather complicated.

  • I haven't tried brice or carrara. But I have 3dsmax and prefer blender. The modelling is real easy all is done with the mouse and just a few hotkeys. But the menu is quite intuitive too, and you can set it up just how you want it. (plus its free, and you'll never have to pay for any plugins, updates ect...) Also, the community is great and there's lots of tutorials and step-by step guides. No matter what software you use, 3d takes time to learn, especially in the beginning.

  • This character is from "Introducing Character Animation with Blender" tutorial. Nice changes on his skin though :P. Quite funny :D

  • Yup, I made him by following the BSOD tutorial, best documentation to go through for beginners...

  • i agree. I've done it myself. Maybe i'll post my version of it :D

  • holy shit i am subscribing to you your heaps good did you use a tutorial forthat if so tell me or make a tutorial

  • omg.. now that was funny. And mad props for using open source too. :thumbs up:

  • AWSOMEEE!!!

  • LMAO GREAT :D

  • hahaha!! epic!
