@ivanhvg no on the transfer case but an AT has a breather that can be relocated... but it is pretty high already. Check the FJCruiserfForum for some examples (we have a MT)
@TraxxasKing you are correct... ARB is the exclusive distributor to all of the Americas so the it tends to be associated with them. Thanks for the comment.
I sent you a msg about the parts/ fitting i will need to do the mod, I was also wondering about any steering mods. After i put on 33 inch tires my stearing seems different almost wiggly on the road.. I know that this will happen but would like to make it better. Also thinking of getting another wheel allignment done seems like im getting a wobble in the right front. I had the front right taken off and ballanced again and it still wobbles. Thanks
@stoods797 Thanks for the suggestion... I run a manual transmission and don't have to worry about the front as much as the auto guys. If we get the opportunity to video a friend will get it up here for you
This mod relocates the E-locker and rear differential breather to higher ground allowing high water crossing. This allows you to enter water that may be deeper than your rear differential without it getting sucked in.
Now THIS is what YouTube SHOULD be used for! Awesome vid, great info, will be searching the forums for parts list and crawling under "la gorilla azul" this weekend.
question? Is there a way to mod you motor oil dipstick (2007 toyota fj) from water and fine dust? The o-ring thats on the dipstick now doesn't seem to work very well. If you have any info please let me know.
Hi great videos as always! this is the only one left i haven´t done yet from your videos.
Do you know wether the tranfer case and AT transmission need the same?
Tks!!

Hey, where can i get a snorkel for my 99 4runner!
tripple222 1 year ago
@tripple222 Check out ARB's web site. They make snorkels for a number of rigs. Good luck to you.

@lastgreatroadtrip
I believe Safari makes the snorkels not ARB

Hey i am putting a 3 inch lift on my fj....when i am done putting it on is the allignment to off for me to drive it to get it alligned.
dktrainer 1 year ago
@dktrainer you should be able to drive to an alignment shop... just don't put hundreds of miles on it or you will be getting new tires as well.

Great video on showing how to extend the breathers, why does the elocker have a separate breather? I'm unfamiliar with the FJ's
mediarocker543 1 year ago
@mediarocker543 Not sure why Toyota went that way... but a little "T" fitting took care of it.

You forgot to mention that gloves are a must when performing this mod.
