  • We can't talk about mongolian buddhism without mentioning the lineage of bogd jebtsun dhampa. His contribution to the mongolian buddhist and culture can't be denied.

  • yeah,,mongols destroyed tiber once..But we still love you guys!!! YOu tibetans are great! i like your culture very much!

  • LAGYPOT's right. Since it was like the relationship between Tibet and Mongolia like Guru and Student... of religon though. something like that.

  • In fact, it can be argued that Mongolian conquest and rule over Tibet was partly responsible for the Current Tibetans current situation of the Tibetans.

  • Well, not really. What amgalanbator implied by foreign people is Manchu, not Tibetan. Before, the nomads of Asia used to fight with each other. However, now on the world stage that is so globalized, we need to cooperate. Tibetans were also Shamanists. Buddhism flourished in Mongolia three times. During the Great Mongolian era, Mongolians were Buddhists, Christians, Shamanists, Muslims etc.

  • That is very correct. What I meant is that the Chinese now justify their rule over Tibet to the fact that Tibet was under the rule of the Yuan (Mongolian) Dynasty in the 13th Century.

  • The fact is that now the relations between Tibetans and those Mongolians who still adhere to Buddhism (Tuvans, Buryats, Kalmyks and Mongols from independent Mongolia)are being revived and growing stronger and stronger. Thousands of Mongols from these areas study in Tibetan monasteries in exile, for instance.

  • I am Tibetan. I recognise the Mongolian right to choose their own faith. However, it must be stated that the Dalai Lama went there because he was invited by Mongolian Buddhists. Tibetan Buddhism did not create internecine warfare, internecine warfare was part of Mongolian history long before Buddhism came to Mongolia. Tibetans did not come to Mongolia, initially, Mongolians came to Tibet and caused so much destruction and chaos.

  • Buddhism came to Mongolia around 1700. The foreign people who brought Buddhism to mongolia wanted to gain control over mongolians. Before this, Mongolians were shamanistic.

  • mostly elders are buddhists ,its a past generation's faith, let the mongolians choose their own religion

  • damn the communists, ever since they've emerged they've been nothing but trouble. and the soviets actually thought to create a free land but made a huge mistake. alas those poor victims of the harsh rule of communism.

  • people know so less about buddhism...i pity them just like lord Avalokitesvara, Chenresig,"

  • Bless the Buddhist being proactive and standing up for their faith! I hope the missionary work of Christians stops or slows down. People should find faith on their own not be imposed with ideas "This is the way the only way no other way but MY WAY" is not preaching or giving people choice.

  • I admire you, the mongolian. Please continue your step

in order to preserve and develop your culture, especially your Buddhism for the sake of your next generations.

    great video. thanks.

  • Please be polite . Yes, People do have their own rights to choose their own faith, however the point is that when a blind person who has never seen the true world is trying to convince people to believe his mind created version of the world by inappropriate means, people should be warned of that.

  • Thank you tersar for this video. I hope for Mongolians to regain their identity through buddhism.

  • nice

  • Great video. I'm partly Moorish and live in the Netherlands. I love seeing Buddhism grow in the country's. Like the girl said; it's the only way for peace!!! And for caring about other living beings and nature and the earth

  • Tibetan Buddhism caused much internecine warfare between Mongolian ethnic groups.

  • Cool vid! Wonder why there are so few comments.
