Her accent is awful. It's just like...really bizarre. Where is she supposed to be from in the US? It's like I can definitely tell that she's supposed to be American, but the way she speaks kind of makes her sound slow, mentally. Whatever. I always get annoyed when British people complain about bad British accents, so I shouldn't talk.

Ladies....ladies lol. I guess after Tom and Christine Dale I have become immune to the bad american accents. I guess we need to give it time and avoid listening to her drone on too much. I think it will be good to have Lucas rather exposed and his emotional state altered somewhat. I really can't wait to see how this deepens his character. But yeah her accent is bad I agree. lol

Oh, no doubt RA will perform this beautifully as we see Lucas show some vulnerability and likely angst as he falls for Sarah . . . I am trying to keep an open mind about Sarah . . . and hope the accent somehow improves during the series. Just don't mistreat him, girlie, or you'll have a certain army up in arms and ready to take you on LOL

@JulietD001 Haha yeah the accents of American characters in the show is generally bad. I think the only accent that I thought was good was Christine Dale's accent. The actress who plays her (Megan Dodds) actually grew up in California.

As for Sarah Caufield, I can't stand her. The way she is annoys me. Her attempt at the American accent is bad too.

I agree the accent is appalling. It sounds like some weird combination of a New England, Bronx and southern accents and it just isn't nice to listen to . . . I wish they had cast an American actress with an authentic, genteel southern accent - very feminine and charming, but with a steeliness beneath . . . just my two cents' worth. ( : She is a lovely girl and seems talented, but the bad accent really bothers me.

I'm horribly protective of all RA characters and can't stand to see him hurt by a love interest, which is what I fear from Sarah . . . and I tend to think no one is good enough for him LOL I am very biased and not ashamed to admit it. I adore Richard!!

I expect there may be a bit of awkwardness - I'm assuming this is his first time with a woman since leaving that hell hole in Russia - but surely "intense and sweet and hot" will also figure into the equation. And RA with at least some of his kit off! (Yeah, I am totally shallow).

Oh I do agree! At first view I thought them to be hot but after rewatching this vid I find that there's not chemistry at all between them. The "hotness" I thought I saw first time was obviously just on lovely Richard's behalf. It's really disapointing that they couldn't match RA with an actress that he could have real chemistry with. RA had more chemistry with that Russian stripper in ep 7 last series than he has with "Sarah". But if we're lucky the chemistry just might improve over time. :o)

It looks to me like when they were about to kiss, they were also about to bump noses, Lucas changes direction at the last moment, would have needed quite a few takes at that, had it been me! lol
