i don't know if this is the right place to ask but i have a general question that has been bugging me.
Why did God create ugly people? Seriously and don't give me that crap about the world being boring if everyone looked the same or beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i saw this thing on tv where this guy looked like a tree because of all his warts. he will never have sex. seriously, it must be extremely painful to not experience something that everyone else gets to experience.
i just can't stand being single and to think of the possibility of being single forever, which the tree guy and others will be has got to be excruciating.
it's easy for people who have sex to say life is fine without sex but is it really? is it ok to ask God help in finding a significant other? why would God help a mediocre looking person find the one but not a super ugly person?
The questions you need to ask yourself is, 'Why do ugly people exist?'. If you go into it, you'll see that they don't. What exists is your minds interpretation. Think of it this way.. When you're a baby, when you looked at your mother she might have been the ugliest thing on earth, but when you're pure in mind, you don't see any ugliness. So what happened since then? Your mind has become corrupt due to exposure to various forms of conditioning.
thank you. i agree with a lot of what you say and you gave a good answer.
the thing is, there is no need for me to have any sexual attraction to my mom. there is with a significant other. sex drive is a part of the human, not the being right? is it really possible to clean your mind so much than you can have sex with someone that is not sexually attractive whatsoever?
i want to be more spiritual. i don't want to poke holes in everything but this is just one thing i can't figure out.
When u are a child it didnt matter how pretty someone is.. it ddnt matter to u.. but, the moment the hormones start playing within u (due to programs tht get triggered), now u cant think of the world beyond that. In other words, one perspective/program dominates your perception. If this one perspective is allowd to dominate like this, then naturally u will see a lot of ugly ppl! lol It's just a trick of the mind, but it seems to be a reality.
The reality is that if u wear one perspective for too long, it gets stuck. Think of Edward De Bono's 6-thinking-hats. You put one hat on, that gives u one perspective. U put another hat, u get another perspective. But there is something more fundamental than all of the hats. That's awareness/light. Without the light, no hat or filter will work. Find the babys (pure) perspective, then u can learn to juggle hats without being stuck to one.
I view your Q from a different perspective completely. If I reworded your Q , it would read: Why did that person choose to come to earth and display a characteristic that is deemed by his present society, that is unfavorable?
My answer would be: He is looking to develop and experience something such as......empathy for those who condemn him...to fully understand that beauty comes from within...to overcome insecutrities regarding what OTHERS think about him..etc., etc!
silence, unmoved, untouched listening, brings clarity into each happening. Happenings are seen clearly as something changeable, detached looking begins, without a "somebody" whos lokking

well if it was God who created Him, then God probably has a good surprise for him in the next life:)

Clean your mind as you would clean your body, otherwise it collects all kinds of contaminants that distort your perception of reality.
