  • this rocks! nuff said

  • The accompanying video to Foreigner's playing this song is totally unnecessary and actually distracting from the emotional grip the song has on us listeners...all we needed to see was the emotionally-packed faces of the band members, especially Lou's... That alone takes me to the height that the song was intended to!!! I've loved this song for ages - thanks for taking me on a smooth ride down memory lane!!!

  • Goose bumps at 'There's a door that opens wide'....

  • The voice of .Lou Gramm is always my soul doctor !

  • That unmistakable angelic voice..Lou Gramm.

  • I forgot just how good this song was - haven't heard it in years. Thanks for posting.

  • When music was written about being with someone "Until the End of Time" rather than a one night fling.......

  • Sappy sounding ballad, but powerful & stands up there with all of their other great songs from the past. Lou Gramm's vocals on the bridge parts = TIMELESS..

  • This is what music is all about...these legends are class apart...oh! I miss the 80s and 90s hell...Hope until the end...those moments are back in time !!!!

  • loveeee ittt

  • אין על השירים של נוכרי

  • Heard this song when it came out, bought the cd soon after but just found the video for the first time today. Thank you rockingace1, this was your Christmas present to me

  • pt2. band, I couldn't agree more lol. i deleted the 4 tracks with Kelly. For me I've got it being all Gramm & with it ending in Until The End Of Time. Fitting I say, speaking of this song, where is this elusive acoustic version of this song you all speak of. I can't find it for nothing!

  • Petty awesome vid & song, I just got on the Foreginer bandwagon, sorry folks dont rip me too bad as i did remember listening to them growing up but paid them no mind. I got around to listening to the No End In Sight compliation and man was that good. I couldn' listen to the new tracks with Kelly, he doesn't suck...He's just not Lou. I read an article where Lou expressed his concerns of them not really doing a lot of new material with Kelly & how he basically looks at them as a cover--

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Lou a few years back in NJ and sitting one on one with him and his good friend Guitarist/musician Don Mancuso for a revealing and personal interview. It was amazing and Lou talked about a lot of things to me. He is one of the best voices ever in Rock and music,

  • Beautiful song!

  • Lou Gramm and his voice of gold.

Haven't hear this in years. Thanks for posting.

  • Very under rated ballad from Foreigner !!! I loved this song when this came out in 1996 and sad it would have been Lou Gramm's swan song with Foreigner :(

  • Lou Gramm is Perfection!

  • Lou Gramm is unparalled as a vocalist.

  • Lou is so beautiful. HIS is the voice rock vocalists strive to be half as good as.

  • Mr Moonlight!!!! me encanta la voz de Lou es tremenda!!!!

    Sexy!!!!

    Lou es Grandioso!!!!!

  • This needed more airplay... Such a beautiful song!

  • @fcopp10 it gets lots of airplay on easy listening stations in my area.

  • OMG, I have listened to this over and over and it just lifts me higher and higher!! If Heaven were a song, it would be THIS song!!!

  • What a beautiful song, what fantastic vocals. Sends shivers down my spine!!

  • Truly an emotional epic. Gramm's vocals are strong, powerful, dramatic and passionate, and the backing is as smooth and sleek as any in pop. The song reminds me of another heartstring-tugging ballad from that era; the Duran Duran ballad "Come Undone".

  • I bought Mr. Moonlight in 1994, when I was 14 and everyone in School listend to Eurodance, Hip Hop or Grunge. Until the End of Time soon became my fav. Track of this great Album. White Lie had a little Airplay on Austrian Radio. This Music was "out" then, but the Band didn´t cared about and made a real real good Job!

  • I could not agree more. This song was a hidden gem that barely got a sniff on rock radio because of that God awful grunge movement. Lou Gramm is one of the most gifted vocalists I am proud to call my all time favorite alongside Freddie Mercury. As much as the critics hated bands like Foreigner, Styx, and Journey, Lou deserves his rightful place in history. The sales numbers are astounding. And if the Rock Hall of Fame stays the course, legends like Lou and Cheap Trick will always be snubbed.

  • Unfortunately grunge and rap crowded out rock in the 90s :(( Thankfully, rock is taking its rightful place once again and all of our wonderful rock bands are selling out tour dates nationwide!!!! Long live rock and roll!!! BTW -- Foreigner sounds fabulous today and is touring with Journey and Night Ranger!!! Would love to hear this lovely song live!!!!

  • im glad people see how underrated this album was

  • SCREW FOREIGNER!!! LONG LIVE LOU GRAMM!!!!!! HE WAS FOREIGNER. THEY ARE NOTHING WITHOUT LOU.

  • @msvictorialeigh - ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH YOU - Lou Gramm's so magic voice will always be in our ears !!

  • Mr. Moonlight was worth way more than #136 on the Billboard. Was it a #1 or top 5 album like the classics had been in the 70s and 80s? No. But it had realistic top 40 potential at least. Until The End Of Time did reach #42, but it's a top 20 calibre Hot 100 song. White Lie was also worth the top 40, as was Under The Gun. I'm not saying this as a nostalgic rose-tinted fan of 70s/80s music (which I happen to be). I'm saying this because it was a very good album, in 1994, 2094 or whenever.

  • @azapro911 well put. A vastly under-marketed/mis-marketed album, in my opinion.

  • @dhofkin Weird really, because prior to the album release this was touted as Foreigner's big comeback and Lou Gramm's big homecoming. Then it's marketing time and their new record company doesn't want to know. Bizarre.

  • This really was an underrated song. It was over 16 years ago and I have listened to it ever since. Great lyrics and I love the old movies/romantic scenes. They don't make songs like this anymore (unfortunately).

  • The perfect love song to slow dance with your loved one or spouse. I dedicated it to my husband on my Facebook and he will have my heart now and forever Until The End of Time.

  • Heaven is more real than anything in the earth....no more tears, no more pain.....Jesus for all of Eternity......filling us now with joy, love, healing all things supernatural.....Love love love ..... reach out call out to Jesus and Be Free....rock on Gramm

  • I think this is Foreigner's best ballad by far. If it had been released in the mid-'80s, not only would it have gone to #1, but it would probably have been the biggest song of the year too. It's a shame that it was all but ignored in 1995.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG,

  • one of my fav songs by them

  • Que magica y fuerte balada!, me has hecho retroceder a mi epoca d universidad....xelente cancion!, grande Foreigner!

  • This song is really good. Their newest album is a little mainstream.

  • The acoustic version of this is wonderful. I have it on the back of the cassette single of this. I wish I could find it online somewhere.

  • @WeenieKay

There is an acoustic version online, if we're talking about the same one. It's the "Off The Record" radio show where Mick Jones and Lou Gramm performed two acoustic songs to promote the Mr Moonlight album back in 1995. It was this one and Urgent. Otherwise, I've never heared a different version of this song before and would be great if you could share it with us. Let us know, mate!!!

  • Epic ... the words cant describe it ! That's a real music ! There's no Metal , Pop , Hip-hop etc... !

  • That unmistakeable voice. You know it's a Foreigner song when you hear Lou Gramms' amazing vocals. For me without the original lead singer, the band is just a tribute band. Same applies to Styx without Dennis DeYoung, and Journey without Steve Perry.

  • I LOVE THIS CD. I think its my fave Foreigner CD of all time. I know..odd right? Its such a beautul cd and it was his last with Foreigner. I love Kelly too but GOD I miss Lou being apart of it. LOU will always be the best singer ever

  • Sooooooooooooooooooooooo underrated. This song is as epic as any other hit they had.

  • @vaportrails44 i completely agree..you couldnt have said it any better!!!!

  • Best song ever

  • One of my favorites from this band. I think I like this more than their other, better-known ballads (I'm thinking of "I Want To Know..." or "Waiting..."), probably 'cause this seems to have a bit more atmosphere, and Lou isn't singing himself hoarse.

  • @sbrushfan I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!

  • The opening lyrics described me to the t. It is still my number one love song of all time! Married 18 years now!

  • God damn, Lou is spectacular. Really a rare talent.

  • lou gramm or robert plant? ::))

  • @plantosa1 - ha ha - good question, sometimes they look(ed) as twins - however a big difference Lou Gramm's so magic voice is still considered as one of the best pop/rock voices for the last 30 years ...!!!

  • @plantosa1 Lou Gramm, which is ironic since I just happen to be listening to Plant right now, lol.

  • many thanks for posting - when hearing Lou Gramm's so magic voice, can understand why he is still considered as one of the best pop/rock voices for the last 30 years !!!! great LOU GRAMM !!!!! however, can see on this video first signs of his brain tumour...

  • Lou Gramm, the most underrated Rock vocalist ever.... He will be eligible for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, as a solo artist in 2012. True Blue Fans will always be here for Lou......

  • @54gravi oh no way how did you find that out? Do you know about Mick fucking up the chances of Foreigner getting in the hall of fame?

  • @bugmusk6 I read on the HOF website that anyone is eligible 25 yrs after their first recording is debuted. Whether you are inducted into the RnR HoF is another issue. Yes, I heard about MJ and that fiasco from an interview Lou did that was posted online, from his local news station. I was devastated, as were thousands of fans, when I heard that!!

  • @54gravi If Lou or Foreigner don't make it in the HoF then the RnR HoF will have lost all credibility in my eyes and hopefully in a lot of other peoples eyes!!!!

  • @bugmusk6 I agree, and so do others too! We should start a Fans RnR-HoF. We nominate and vote for the rockers to be inducted. There are other bands, that others believe should be in also and I don't think some of them have even been nominated either. It is a shame.

  • This song was my mom and dad's song...and it's my Fiance and I's song now. :) ♥

  • Unlike most fans, this was the song that introduced me to Foreigner. I was 15, and heard it a my high school homecoming dance. After I finished dancing with my date I asked the DJ who it was, and he showed me the Mr. Moonlight album and I have been a fan ever since.

As for me and my date, it didn't last much past that dance, but I have still been a Foreigner fan. Great song, from a great album.

  • from the album "Mr Moonlight" (1994). Maybe Lou Gramm's last superb performance. Simply an amazing love ballad and my personal favourite. Long live Foreigner!!!

mo dedicasse ca pou DEXTER et JOE Misfits

  • This is the greatest love song I have ever heard, the lyrics really take you back......

  • Was the last time I saw Lou Gramm with foreiner in Aug 12,1994 Summerfest biggs airfield in El Paso tx. Than you for share it ....love it
