I'm an expert. The actual best bet to follow the monkey would be to have the, "Bunny Hood" mask.. First, go the clock town, go to the area where kafei is.. go their at night, go to the log where the dude is sitting down playing the old fashioned music box.. learn the song. I think he gives you a mask.. a breman mask. go to lon lon ranch after you get the breman mask. Talk to the pale looking dude with the chickens, line all the chickens up with the breman mask.. and get the bunny hood mask.. :D

You're right. And it's likely that these are not the same witches, for their Hyrulean counterparts had already haunted Link as a child from a distance. The Terminan witches seem too friendly to have been the same ones that had done that.
