Yep, Stage 1 is definitely not bad. But the difficulty ramps up fast. I have to use a continue by Stage 3 (PS2 version).

As someone who enjoys both Touhou and the Dodonpachi games, I can say that anyone who considers Touhou harder hasn't played this game.

If you think that this game is easy then play it, this game is way harder than any of the Touhou games. Even on Easy this game is way too difficult.

I guess that was Stage 1 or something? It doesn't look hard compared to Touhou, or to Hibachi. But don't get me wrong, Dodonpachi is definatly good in my opinion.

yeah, and DDP:DOJ beats the shit out of it.

This is only the first stage, first stages are always easy.

Not to mention DDP has a second loop that just gets incredibly more difficult.
