basically the f4i isn't much slower, but it makes a huge difference on insurance lol thats why i got the f4i. state farm insurance considers it a sport touring bike lol

both injected, the rr is newer lol. last cbr that was carb'd was the f4 hince the next version was injected and called the f4i

@awwwwnaaaa Pre-2001 the bike was a honda cbr600 f4 which had carbs ( therefore a choke), from 2001 to 2006 it was called the honda cbr600 f4i, this is because the F4i is a factory modified F4 with numerous engine, chassis and bodywork differences aswell as a 50psi fuel injection system ( no choke and an ' i ' in the name ), after 2006 the bike is called the Honda cbr600 RR,

@reggindriver incorrect, the RR and the f4i are completely different models of bike, the RR was available from 2003 and is the "moto gp" style of bike, and the sports model, the f4i is the continued model of the f4 and is pretty much a similar bike with the fuel injection you mentioned, they are however completely different bikes, and not a continuation of each other

@awwwwnaaaa , yes true only about 7hp difference but there is also the rr has a race inspired suspension set up and the handle bars are much lower, So you are forced to lay on the tank of the bike more. Honestly unless your actually racing on a track i would got with the f4i. Much more comfortable sitting position.

yeah dude definantly has sprockets which make it read like its goin faster no stock 600 will go over 200 i have an f4 and had it pinned at 160 and it didnt move
