  • Hey! I'm a newbie when it comes to technical stuff regarding my car so I just wanna ask, what happens when you've got a broken shock mount? Does it drastically affect your car's suspension or something? Thanks!

  • Well...to put it simply, it is one less point of contact your rear wheel has with the rest of the car! The grinding noise you hear is the driveshaft rubbing on the bottom of the car. The panhard bar was welded to the shock mount. The stock shock mount was never designed to take the G forces that the panhard bar was putting on it and that is what snapped it off. Once it broke, the rear end was moving around under the car enough that the driveshaft began hitting the bottom of the car.

  • Oh, i see. Thanks! :D

  • Yes, it drastically affects handling and makes the car undrivable. More importantly, it makes you utter profanities quite loudly.

  • That is does...sorry about that!

  • That looks like so much fun. What are the requirements to get started?

  • Did I here you say "Oh dear"?

  • Um yeah...sorry about that!

  • lol, keep the vidoes coming
