I wonder how hot the battery was when it landed. Also what was the ambient temperature.

not sure on the temp, but i dont have the heli anymore or i would check it, i run the new 6s 2600 38c poweredge packs in my 500 and they stay way cool, when the temp gets beyyer here ill see what they get, but these packs last for over 100 flights i have found out and still have awesome power, one of my 500 packs has well over 130 flights on it and still going strong
