    3 cups of all-purpose flour,

    1 glass of milk.

    Great Doughnut making! I dont have yeast though, i never use it. Ill try and make it without them, oh, and i wont use butter either.

    YES. You may or may not need to add a little extra powdered sugar to get it thick enough [=

    You must have a leavening agent, you can use baking powder. Won't taste same but it will work.

  • @jeremybalce u get donuts u can fill with cream or chocolate or custard (yuk) or jam ... well anything u can actuall fill it with... nuff said on that one i think too many ids about to explain lol (watch van wilder party liason or the other van wilder and u will get the idea for wat they mae the dog do lol)

  • I didn't have whole milk, so I just added a little less than a tablespoon of butter into fat-free milk. I hope that's ok.

  • thanks, these look great. question - why add the room temp butter towards the end instead of at the beginning w/the rest of the ingredients? a clean up tip: put paper towel down on the pan after the "fry", and cheap wax paper down on the baking pan when you dip the donuts in the glaze. no clean up on the pans, just throw the paper towel/wax paper away. can you tell i love cooking | hate cleaning?

    I used bittersweet chocolate that you use in baking.

    Semisweet would be fine also.

  • I would suggest using a candy thermometer and bring the cooking oil to 375 degrees. This will reduce the cooking time and keep the dough from becoming greasy.
