  • Nice. Didn't say a lot (not belittling what was said), but his stories entertained me.

  • 25:10 Being scared triggers a sort of camaraderie, a connection like we survived something together and when that happens, you feel like you know the person well as you've seen how they behave in scary, uncertain times. It also triggers an "I may die so lets get my genes spread as much as possible right this moment" and it by passes inhibitions

  • @sharpezor BTW: I made all that up, I don't actually know what im talking about just know it's based on logic and is still a possibility.

  • This talk looks remarkably similar to the one I gave @ 27C3. Whee, cogpsych.

  • Briliant. Also love how he uses a WiiMote :D

  • someone's having gold fish for dinner :)

  • Great talk!

  • Definitely one of the better talks, I love this kind of information... or do I? D: Maybe he's just priming me to care about my brain!

  • Nice remote ;)

  • awsome talk

  • hi, interesting talk.

i do think however the analysis at the end with the bridge and dates could be explained by the reactions of the person doing the study, if they're perceiving someone with enlarged pupils etc, they may have put out more, invoking the subject to respond, think and then take interest in them, also probably boosted by the telephone number.

did the study take into account this response?

  • Brilliant, very interesting and funny!
