  • Ok guys whats with all the hate on Fernando? Fernando might not be everyones cup of tea but hes a fantastic driver! So is Kimi! i'd love to see Kimi back in F1 next year. Maybe at Williams or somewhere else but it would be awesome if he was back at ferrari. Alonso and Raikkonen would be unstoppable with a good car!?

  • Too many people are still thinking that Raikkonen got fired from Ferrari because of his attitude or driving....ofcourse from Ferrari they'll never admit that it was the sponsor money that Santander brought with them, but you dont have to be genious to do the math...Spanish bank + Spanish driver....

In short, without Santander Kimi would have driven atleast 1 more year in 2010 in F1 and Ferrari, and maybe, just maybe taken his second championship....but now we will never know....

  • @Balnazzardi I'm of the opinion that it was Massa's injury from hungary in 09 the lead to kimi not staying at ferrari, as ferrari would've looked pretty sleezy had the sacked Massa after it and decided to sympathetically keep him.

Sounds far fetched but thats what i think

  • @atomicR4GER Well there is some point also in that, I admit...and another thing is that Alonso (as we all know from) cant stand it, if his team-mate gets equel treatment...Alonso has always wanted #1 driver status inside the team, and so Massa was perfect #2-driver for Ferrari, Kimi would have never submitted to be #2-driver...

So I think it was combination of Santader's money+Massa+Kimi's own interest to move to WRC...and according to Montezemolo also Kimi's lack of communication.

  • @Balnazzardi A lot of people also think that about Alonso but IMO with Kimi's personality I don't think he and Alonso would of had many problems with each other.

I also think Alonso is unfairly bashed because of the trouble's he and hamilton had in 2007 with regards to "team supremacy"

And to make it clear i'm not an Alonso fan either

  • @atomicR4GER It's not just about 2007, it was clear already in Renault that Alonso was the #1 driver (espeically since Briatore was also Alonso's manager), and we all remember what happened in Singapore 2008 (no matter what some people say, Alonso MUST HAVE KNOWN about his team's plan) and Germany 2010 (this is ridicilous, tell felipe to let me pass)....

With such things, I just cant have any respect for Alonso, although Im not saying that he is bad driver

  • @Balnazzardi Singapore 08, im not sure whether he knew or not.

About Germany '10 if he had of finished 2nd and then instead of being held up in the final race at abu dabi and lost the championship by anything under 7 points then ferrari and alonso would be heavily critised for not letting massa past, massa, regardless of team orders was NEVER in the hunt to win the championship and while people dont like it, letting alonso into the lead was the right call.

  • @atomicR4GER Well if Alonso had win the championship by team order, it would have been total fiasco...

Did RedBull use teamorder in Brasil last year? NO they didnt! After Korea Mark Webber seemed to be in better situation, but instead of using team-order and letting Webber win, they didnt and I remember everyone saying how RedBull was offering the championship to Falonso...but if they had used team-order, Vettel wouldnt be champ now...that made it all the more sweeter when Falonso lost.

  • @Balnazzardi Red Bull didnt use team orders last year because BOTH of their drivers were in contention for the championship, Felipe Massa hadn't even won a race, let alone be in contention. In any case you seem to have blind hatred of Alonso get in the way of facts and instead fill your mind with conspiracies and utter crap.

  • @atomicR4GER In Germany Massa mathematically had the chances to fight for the championship...sure he was behind in points, but when Ferrari gave that "order" it was clear that Massa was nothing but #2-driver, Santander's money is what defines that Falonso is the number-1 driver in the team, no matter who drives the other car....

I seriously cant have any respect for such driver like Santander Eyebrow who can take joy from such victories as Germany 2010 and Singapore 2008

  • Ferrari need to improve a lot but a lot if they want to win both titles next year!! this season is over!

  • @MetaKnightsKirby read my reply, 2003 and 2005. That was pure gamesmanship.

  • I still find it quite incredible just how high up the field Massa and Raikkonen actually got the F60 in some races, frequently into the the points after the 4th race despite it being a pretty awfull car (just look at where Fisichella ran in it to get an idea of how bad it really was).

  • @Grisu94x yes, I do. The ones with Schumi don't really count, especially after the 2003, and 2005 political games. There's a reason FiA are derided as Ferrari International Assistance.

  • @Grisu94x yes, I do. And most of the titles with Schumi don't count. There's a reason that the FiA are derided as Ferrari International Assistance.

  • @Grisu94x yes, I do. And most of the titles with Schumi don't count. There's a reason that the FiA are derided as Ferrari International Assistance.

  • @hpmika 'Most'? Name one.

  • @tohtorigyro aha and why do you know that is kimi better are you kimi? are you alonso are you a formel 1 driver?? you cant say he is better and he and he and he omg -.- nobody knows who is the best driver becouse you can only know when all drives drive the same car than you become a picture of the best driver and kimi dont comeback becouse he say hes lucky on rally and some more and he say he comes not back

  • Ferrari are nothing but a political outfit. Alonso will never be a WDC so long as he's with Ferrari. Last year's championship running to the wire with Ferrari being contenders was a fluke. They deserve another 19 years in the wilderness.

Blaming Kimi who's probably the bravest F1 driver in the past decade reeks of gamesmanship and utter incompetence. Sod off, wankers.

  • @hpmika alonso actually is a 2 time world champion in f1... but yeah, raikkonen was among the best, if hes cars would've been reliable he'd be a 3 time world champion and alonso i think would've won only once. i hope he makes a return next year. to red bull. i think webber will quit after this season.

  • @tohtorigyro I'm not questioning Alonso's skills. He's certainly a WDC twice over. I was just saying that I'm tired of Ferrari's games and that I think Alonso's title aspirations with Ferrari will just be that.

  • then learn to drive like jenson button you faggot!

  • @BrotherYounis ??? He was on a dry track with full wet tyres through no choice of his own, anyone would've destroyed their tyres.

  • he speaks!

  • he was 3 laps early to the heavy weather tyres:(

  • muahhahahhah :D that was awesome. that pitstop where they changed the tires of kimis car from dry to heavy wets was a - how i call it - clasiscal luca baldisseri :D :D :D

one legend on the pitwall, big supporter of felipe massa and horribly missing since mid-2009. hope he is back for 2011!

  • @donsimon3000 it was a gamble if i was the driver i would've went for it as well cuz the car wasn't performing anyways.however, if rain had showed up earlier they would've won the race, they had nothing to lose except the tires off course.

  • This was worth uploading to YouTube?

  • Never heard Kimi speak on the radio much, tbh

  • He Was Driving on Wet Tyres When It was still Dry

  • Kimi Räikkönen says: "Thank you Schumacher, you're a freaking asshole"

  • who was commentating after the radio....it sounded like james allen

  • @garethkielty it was Legard, the absolutely useless man that is Legard

  • "Copy that Kimi. Don't worry, we've got ice cream and Coke in the garage fridge."

  • @itsme111478 haha i like that

  • consider the fuel loads and massa almost never beat kimi in quali

  • @OnkelTucca Also Kimi weighs more then Massa

  • looooooooooooooool

  • I hope to see Raikkonen racing again in 2011. But please, go to McLaren.

  • love ya kimmi come back soon to f1 to ferrari or mclaren

  • i never understand what they're saying

  • "my tires are completed destroyed, completed destroyed"

  • the radio isn't hear good...

  • the last guy tht spoke sounded like James Allen...

  • This was one of Ferrari's worst season, they took the first points only in the fourth race and made a lot of mistakes. Then at the end of the season they blame it on Kimi that he's not a team leader and such. Bullsh!t.

When Alonso rejoined Renault in 2008 I was expecting that he would have better results but he had two bad seasons. I don't expect him to produce miracles in Ferrari either.

  • kimi is better than alonso and massa

kimi is the best finland f1 driver ever

  • Hakkinen?

  • Massa outdrove Raikkonen in 08 and lookd good in 2009 too until accident. Alonso 2 time wc in a Renault. Kimi is done and he's not the best.

  • remember. if it wasn't for mclaren's poor reliability, raikkonen would be a 3 time world champ.

  • @jraybay massa just outqualified raikkonen in 08 thats what made him win races.. and in 2009 ferrari were useless uptil the point where massa had the accident.. im sure massa would not have won any races in 2009 if he didnt get injured

  • Kimi s good but he s got nothing on Hakkinen.Hakkinen as far as i m concerned could ve been "schumi killer" if it wasnt for the incompetency of mc laren during his time.

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen well 2010 will be unpredictable to say the least, Shumi is back with Rosberg as partner, many new teams and no refueling, its anyone's game.

I think, and hope that this will be RedBull's time to shine. They had an incredible season and Vettel and Webber are great together. Too bad they have reliability issues with the 2009 car, I hope they will work out the kinks of the Renault engine and overall car design

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen

Who blamed Kimi? They wanted Alonso because he was fantastic and kept Massa because he was better than Kimi.

You complete idiot - how the fuck did Alonso have bad seasons? In 2008 he beat one of the Saubers and in the truly shit renault in 2009 he got a podium and a fuckin pole position. He truly outperformed his car in 2008-2009 and showed he's one of the best on the grid.

  • @Anime998877 OK, if you want to believe 2008 and 2009 were as good as 2005 and 2006, go on and pretend you don't see the reality, what can I say ?

His driving was good, but he couldn't develop the car in the WINTER break, before the seasons started. And he said he brought 6 tenths of a second to the 2007 McLaren. I bet he forgot his 6 tenths at McLaren when he moved back to Renault and didn't bring his 6 tenths with him.

  • @Anime998877 Lewis Hamilton had a terrible car at the start of 2009 (he could barely make it past Q3) and by the end of the year he was winning races, and he didn't take all the credit by himself, but praised his team of ENGINEERS (you know, the ones that actually bring 6 tenths or more to the car's performance).

Any by the way, stop insulting me as fighting on the Internet is like kicking a wall, you never get any satisfaction ;)

  • @Anime998877 Alonso only got pole @ Hungary because he ran a massively light fuel load.

  • @HSVLVR

You are correct there but as I said that renault was a piece of shit.

  • @Anime998877 Yep by having teammate to crash?

  • @Anime998877 The guy is is an A**hole dude, Alonso is not a fantastic driver, the only reason he won in 05-06 is cause Mclaren were unreliable and cause Renault cheated 06 illegal Mass damper anyone?

  • Firstly let me just say before you jump to conclusions I am not an Alonso fan. The more he fucks up the happier I am. In 2005 admittedly Raikkonen had some awful luck however the fact that doesn't change the fact that Alonso won the championship in a car that was slower.

In 2006 mass dampers were legal until mclaren protested against them because they couldn't use them properly..

  • @Anime998877 Yea he lost it cause his car was so frickin unreliable:( and about that Massdamper thingy, it was the FIA court that ruled that the use of the device known as a Tuned Mass Damper is an infringement of Article 3.15 of the Formula One Technical Regulations. so yea it was actually illegal all the time, same with Ferrari's flexy floor

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen yeah but you could see a clear difference between Alonso and his team mates. The Renault was completely crap in 2008 and 2009, so of course he couldn't do awesome stuff with it. What you could see was that Alonso was hella fast in that crappy Renault and even won some races. Now that he's with Ferrari he's also performing quite good although he made some mistakes. In my view he's better then Massa, that's for sure!

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen -- what a sad turn of events for the Kimster. Ferrari had a dog in 2009 and should be thankful that Kimi managed a single win at Spa. He drove a perfect race and deserves to be back in F1 !

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen it seems the predictions were wrong lol.

Kimi overrated, he could never destroy massar like alonso does

  • @nixxxon18 Actually destroyed Massa only because he cried for Santander... One example is German GP ;). Alonso just sucks. Crybaby with no skills.

  • @EpicLiima hahahah sure, you can win easily 2 wdc with no skills! Also, yeah, alonso is only faster because santander are driving his car with remote control... you pathetic fanboy

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen Hahaha how wrong are you now. Kimi was a waste of space and Ferrari fired him coz he was useless. Simple as that

  • @SilverHayze I read some long articles that explain why Kimi couldn't adapt to the car that was opposite to what he liked. In the middle of 2008 season, the car updates made him struggle even to keep the car on the road (watch the qualy of the German GP). At the end of 2008 he had his older chassis back and performed better than Massa, but it was too late. In 2009 he was again below Massa, but after the accident of Massa the team paid more attention to his requirements and the results showed it.

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen I never said anything about alonso so dunno why you bring him up. Kimi was the useless one at Ferrari and Ron Denis was an idiot so it doesn't say much if he wante Kimi back

  • @SilverHayze , Kimi useless in Ferrari? are you retarded or jsut a cry baby alonso fan boy?

At least he managed to win the championship in the first year with Ferrari...with 2 solid pilots ahead of him... Alonso couldnt even overtake Petrov and he even blamed him.. ofc.... too used to see cars letting him pass... rofl.....

  • @SilverHayze Oh, and I actually like Alonso as a driver, but as a person he's a piece of you know what. Do you honestly think that the boss of McLaren would want Kimi back in his team if Kimi really was garbage?

I like that Alonso was almost in tears after the disaster from the last race of this season. It should teach him a lesson of humbleness.

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen Renault was such a bad car, he even said it, and he never complains, the worst car on the grid

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen,Kimi is better than Alonso in general

Fernando is very good when its time to set the car up,but he can't hold much pressure(07 season for example),but even if Kimi would won the 09 season,Ferrari would still replace him.

and btw-Fernando did perform a miracle in this season,he manage to lose the title in the last race.

  • @221AP Haha, you're right. How he managed to lose it, only he knows it. I hope that Massa will get very competitive and beat him this year, it would be really embarrassing for him.

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen I thought they scored points in round 3

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen man, they didn't blame it on kimi! In Italy we still love Raikkonen because he gave us a great season in 2007 and in 2009 was the only fighter in ferrari. He just wanted to try WRC, it was his own choice. And I hope he will do great things in rally, because he's one of the greatest drivers ever, for sure!

  • @darkspugna92 Well its great to hear that "Tifosi" have not forgot Raikkonen =).But the fact is that Raikkonen still had that 1 year contract with Ferrari for 2010...but then came in Santander and they basicly bought Raikkonen out of Ferrari and out of F1...sure Kimi could have gone back to Mclaren, they offered him a contract, but the thing was that Kimi got payed for that 2010 year by Santander only if he didnt go to drive in some other F1 team..and that was also one reason why Kimi went to WRC

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen you are right , ferrari made a lot mistakes in this season , but the worst of them was kicked out kimi .

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen Ferrari had a very bad season start in this season

  • @lucian1kimiraikkonen So far, Ferrari has gone downhill ever since Alonso joined. Hmm.

  • @YouthEnergy

Kimi should have stayed. Maybe he will come back, have a duel against Schumi and others, and win championship in the final race, how does it sound? ;-)

  • what does he say?

    i don´t understand him!

  • "My tyres are compleatly destoyed''

  • " my tyres are completly destroyed ! completly destroyed..."

  • Thank you!!!

  • "My tyres are completly destroyed, completly destroyed"

  • @TheF1Freak96 He says: My tires are destroyed, completly destroyed

  • ferrari is really going down after Todt left :(

  • good one Ms really.. was a nice advice

  • Wasn't it apparently MS's idea to make kimi go on full wets? What a bright one!!! hahaha...

  • and MS was behind Kimi leaving Ferrari as well....

  • stupid ferrari's strategy damn it. stupid cretins.

  • do you watch F1?

  • because, it's f1. why not?

  • Comment removed

  • this was when the idiots in ferrari put wet tyres on kimi when it was still dry..

  • Lewis driving? I see a yellow top on the helmet

  • Jenson Button is leading the race in this clip, as you can see. It's 2009.

  • That's Jonathan Legard commentating at the end of the clip.

  • In 2008 Kimi won the race...

  • That was a pretty awful race for Kimi. And btw, it's Malaysia now, not Malesia. =] Just thought you should know.

  • is he saying "my tyres are completly difficult" or "my tyres are completly destroyed" ? :D

  • he said destroyed

  • completely destroyed. =]

  • I wasn't havng a go you know. I just thought you'd like to know! :)

  • They dont change the design of the steering wheels lucarioguy111. What would be the point of that. The steering whell makes no difference to the performance of the car apart from not having one would mean you wouldn't be able to turn. All they would have done is added a KERS button. And oh, this is obviously the 2009 McLaren because you can see the wider front wing and the higher nose!

  • It is 2009 : I remember the weather and I also remember him saying that exact sentence.

  • This is 2009... Obviously!!

  • Because Mclaren didn't change their wheel until at least the European rounds

  • I KNOW NOW THANKS.

  • THIS IS 09 FFS

  • Wait that can't be 09. Because it was James Allen's voice at the end?

  • it is 09 I remember him saying that

  • Yeah it is sorry. It sounded like James Allen but it is Jonathan Legard.

  • wait that HAS TO BE FUKING 09 COS LOOK AT THE REAR WING.. seriously.. lol it doesn't take much use of brain cells.. or even hamilton's front wing..

  • Yeah I know I aplogised and have realised my mistake no need to shout about it. Were all human, people make mistakes...

  • Comment removed

  • Actually: My tyres are completely destroyed, completely destroyed :)

  • yeah lord, you suck

  • Comment removed

  • akward conversation at the bottom of the page:p

  • Hurray for Coulthard! Good sportsmanship AND humour on the track! Too bad he retired from F1 racing though...

  • alonso = twat

  • schumacher is the best ... full stop

  • if he's not, (to those ppl with thumbs down comments) then who is the best? dum shits

  • fucking schumacher

  • fucking alonso

  • FucN ...... U!

  • what did he say?? i don't understand anything =(

  • "My tyres are completely destroyed, completely destroyed."

  • thank you!! =D

  • It's pretty clear actually...

  • when i heard this i was so angry ...i think this sentence was a temp bomb to all kimi fans while they were watching race///

  • me too -.-:D

  • He said, " I don't want do to do this anymore, the car needs to be cleaned."

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaa

    now in undertsand

he said that his tires are compleytly destroyed

    or something like that

  • what did he say??

    i couldn't understand this

  • He said: "My tyres are completely destroyed, completely destroyed."

  • Ferrari should put Chris Dyer as Kimi's race engineer back.

His new race engineer is clearly can't work together with Kimi. 2 races, 2 wrong strategies, what a useless race engineer :(

    Bring Chris Dyer back!!

  • I like Chris Dyer too. Ferrari needs to resolve their problems before China

  • I dont know why the fuck Todt and Chris left Kimi!!!!! they both liked him!! it would be a very succesfull team!!! Go Kimi GOOOOOOOOO!

  • Andrea Stella is the worst. I wouldn't mind Rob Smedley being Kimi's engineer

  • todays news: baldisserri (current engineer) was sacked, and Chris Dyer will take his place as the team race engineer. ok baldisserri was not fired but placed to another job.

  • Okay, Chris is in charge of strategy

  • Luca Baldiserri wasn't sacked. He has taken Chris Dyer's role

  • as i said: ok baldisserri was not fired but placed to another job.

i didn't know to what job. but i never said he was really sacked.

  • He is Ferrari's chief engineer

  • Not true. Baldiserri no longer has a job at the races; he is in charge back at the factory. Chris Dyer was promoted from Kimi's race engineer (a job he held for the past two years) to track engineer at the start of the '09 season, and was promoted again to full team boss after the Malaysian GP.

  • Okay, i get it

  • Full team boss? Where'd you get that from? As far as I know, Stefano Domenicali is still the team boss.

  • Stefano is team principle, meaning he is the boss of Ferrari F1, Dyer is the boss/manager of the track operations.

  • I wish they had used someone new for the team boss role or something after Todt left instead of moving everyone around.

  • Lol Wtf. No he wasn't. The team principal is Domenicalli.

  • Which post of mine are you referring to here... I don't see in any of my posts a statement saying "Stefano is not team principle", in fact, I see the opposite...

  • what kind of job?

    to clean the car?

    XP

  • Not to clean the car.

  • it was a joke

    XP

  • It´s so sad for Kimi. Ferrari has ruined his race :-(
