how comes on the new E8s they are not using the blue band at the bottom they are just pure red buses with metroline stickers on

In accordnace with latest TFL policy London's buses are becoming 100% red, thus Metroline's existing buses are losing their blue skirts

I am not looking foward to the bus being fully red,  usuallly I recognize the bus route by it livery
