Ask anyone who isn't familiar with the genre, and more than likely they'll mention "First of the Year" as a song they know. Of course the radio will overplay anything, they're just doing their job even though I think most stations are terrible at it. That's why I stopped listening to the radio years ago, I listen to whatever I feel like listening to whether it's super popular or unknown.
