Wow!!! What a class act..a really talented and beautiful lady. I've been a fan of Ms. Ashers since 1965 and will probably catch hell from all of the "Linda Lovers" for saying this but...I've ALWAYS felt that Paul should have married Jane. They were such a beautiful couple and their children would have been absolute works of art. No disrespect to Linda, but Jane just had that 'certain something' that set her apart from the rest of Paul's girls. I really hope they get back together again someday.

@SHOCKSandSTRUTS I didn't much care for Linda at first, but they loved each other so much it was a beautiful thing to see. Paul's fans loved Linda because he loved Linda, it's as simple as that really. Jane was and is pretty, but Linda had something inside of her that captured Paul's heart. I suppose Linda's beauty came from the inside out. She really was perfect for him and their children are amazing people. He adored her till the end and still does I'm sure. He doesn't seem whole without her.

Sorry, you can't say "crap" in the vicinity of West Side Story's Mambo. I know plenty of American music isn't good, but we had BERNSTEIN, who was a musical hero. Europe has yet to produce anything like him and probably won't ever (you have great conductors, but they stay at the podium). the best american music is just yet to be written, europe just got a few centuries head start.

Britten I won't argue with, Ligeti should be taken like Castor oil, only in small doses and when absolutely necessary, I'll leave Aaron Copland to dispense with RVW, as listening to his music is as "a person having to stare at a cow standing in a field for forty-five minutes." and Ginastera studied with Copland at Tanglewood so he can't be all bad.

Well, if you have enough plastic surgery you can look good at almost ANY age.

I saw her in 1996 and I'm telling you she DIDN'T look like this...she looked ALOT older thirteen years ago than she looks NOW. Go figure. Oh, and her hair was a DIFFERENT colour of red then too.
