@woogilyboogily Bungie are known for being left alone, for the most part, by publishers to get on with their great games. Just because Microsoft have rights to the series doesn't mean they had much to do with Bungie's Halo games, and they most certainly didn't have the bigger part. Bungie created the Halo universe. Bungie left the Halo series behind because the wanted to move on and work on another masterpiece series which has yet to be revealed.

Halo isnt just a game.. Its a way of life for some of us.. I started playing halo when it first came out on Xbox.. I have played it ever since.. Preordered every one inculding Reach.. It saddens me that the series is over.. but at the same time im happy i got to experience one of the greatest game series of all times.. Halo.. Master Chief.. Spartans.. Rest in Peace.. May you always stay in our hearts and memories and be cherished for years to come

@alphawolffy1 Halo isnt ending yet but Bungie sold the rights to Halo to Microsoft so Bungie will never again make Halo games... for me thats ending the series and as for masterchief he went into cryosleep at the end of Halo 3 and is now floating around in space somewhere waiting for people to wake him up so he can fight again so who knows where or when we will see Master Chief again

HAlo wasn't just a game to me, it was about humanity, it was that chance for every kid to fight aliens and save the human race and i will always remember halo!

This brings back so many memories. I wish I could go back in time, when I got my first Xbox and my very first console game Halo: Combat Evolved. Halo will always have a place in my heart and mind, It's never gonna go away. Halo is just too fantastic. The story, the art, the gameplay,everything about the Halo series is worth keeping.

I wouldn't say halo 1 was the best. in my Opinion Halo 2 was the best. had the most meaningful and best story line in its campaign.

Also the music was awesome in Halo 2.. same with Halo 3.

However I have never had quite the gaming experience I had when I first played Halo 1. since then.

Halo 1 seems boring to me now. but I had some great memories on that game. Halo 1 also had one of the best levels of all time. Silent Cartographer.

Halo 2: Gravemind was the best level.
