A global hawk can recon 103,600 square kilometers per day and stay in the air for 36 hours.

A Spetsnaz UAV can stay in the air for 2 hours at most, and recon a couple of km in that time.

If I would American, I would be proud for having 2 Global Hawks in service for NASA coducting missions for general Earth science.

But the cost of loosing 4 Hawks in Iraq and Afghanistan is $600mln and more than 25% of available reconnaissance UAVs. It is 100time more than rate of losses of F-16s. I would really worry about this amount of money. $600mln could do a lot of good if they spent for social uses.
