it's kind of an insane concept, but basically the mom did things with two different guys and conceived children at the same time from them both. they're twins because they were born at the same time from the same womb and all that jazz, but they're only half-related. they have different fathers. it's kind of crazy and weird and impossible, but that's how it happens in the manga rofl.
