  • these signers for the deaf sgould be placed in a small window in the corner, They are I suppose beeded but standing next to speakers cab be annoyingly intrusive,

  • I'm all for clapping when an excellent point is made but it was starting to get a bit much from around about an hour into the talk. I wanted to say calm down and let this first rate commentator continue without interruption every minute.

  • Who will be able to pick up after Chomsky...

He is full of so much factual info, pray he is immortal.

  • @homebasenator Robert Fisk, Norman Finklestein, Victor Kattan.. etc etc.. You get the idea. Not knocking Prof Chomsky, but I'm sure he'd be the first to tell you that the fight goes on.

  • 9/11 was the result of AIPAC control of the U.S. Congress!

  • What a treasure in Noam Chomsky.

  • Love Chomsky, but as one Daily Mail reader wrote of the busting of the IMF chief this week: "This Socialist was staying in a $3000 a night suite? What do you expect from a Socialist? It is always other people's money that they enjoy spending the most. Ask anyone from the former Eastern Bloc countries and they will laugh at the naivete of American Socialist/Progressives. It was all about becoming part of the Socialist ruling elite". Likewise Dems here rub their hands for the same..

  • @0rbis2010

I also read that comment but that ignorant person thought Obama was a socialist.

  • @0rbis2010 hmmm no offence but I wouldn't take the word of the Daily Mail as gospel.as for the IMF chief being a 'socialist' in practice hardly! As Chomsky says the IMF is just a branch of the U.S treasury department!

  • @0rbis2010 The managing director was in the city on private business. No one paid for his suite for him. If you are going to criticize, at least be accurate. What in the world possessed you to cite an interpreter of an interpreter's interpretations as source for "news"?

  • @medlmayer He wasn't cited as "news" but as a reader OF the Daily Mail. This Socialist Fat cat, guilty or not, was like all the Socialist Fat cats from the Eastern Bloc to China and North Korea to the old Soviet; living very high off the hog at the expense of the working class. Which was the reader's point.

  • @0rbis2010 If those "socialist fat cats" like you said can live such a lavish life CAN YOU IMAGE HOW THE RIGHT FASCISTS FROM THOSE COUNTRIES LIVE AND SPEND???? no wonder why Park avenue, 5th Avenue in Manhattan NY has more foreigners as residents in those multimillionaire buildings.

  • @0rbis2010 "This Socialist Fat cat, guilty or not, was like all the Socialist Fat cats..."

You need to watch Chomsky 'debunking socialism': watch?v=6pDmMTW6rJc

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist

hes not debunking it. you watched the video you should know that.

  • @khoroshoorange

Yes I do. My point was to respond to the use of 'socialist' and 'socialism' by the preceding commentors.

  • Is all this so difficult to understand for the boiled frogs nation (f.k.a. Americans)? Are they:

    a) brain dead

    b) brainwashed

    c) evil?

  • Is there a better place than chomsky.info to find his online talks and/or essays? Chomsky.info is usually lagging 1-2 months behind.
