  • Very Cool!

  • I want one.

  • just keep the oil changed and the gonvernor working and it will run for another 50 years.

  • shoulda winched the chevy sand just too soft any idiot could see that coming

  • you have one beautiful truck there good sir ;)

  • please tell me that you take that through drive throughs

  • is that a repo truck??

  • Heavy-duty axles, completely gear-driven transfer cases.....these old deuces rock.

  • @cdawg4391 That's NOT a deuce. Deuces are smaller although they look similar. That's a 5 ton.

  • American engineer!!!!!

  • Interesting it's a gas engine.

  • You gyys have to memember the army truck its not pulling all by itself he towing truck is trying to gain some traction so ia helping a bit

  • Wreckers use farm/mud tires. this was just a tow truck that the 5 ton was pulling

  • that deuce sounded like it was about to break down.

  • ford tow truck huh themoron must not have got the 4 wheel drive modle bet he wishes he did now

  • @calvinlondo looks like 4wd to me.

  • @foxnotch if it was 4 wheel the front end would be about 6 inches lower

  • @calvinlondo are you talking about the ford? Sure looks like it has a front axle and locking hubs to me.

  • thatss exactly how to pull stuff when the sand starts to slip. dont floor it. just keep a slow steady pace...everyone just fricken floors it and doesnt move an inch

  • I hate these cock suckers who think they know so much about beach driving and they dont know shit. Kinda like the comment made about the 250 starting up and helping.... If you will look closely you will notice it is a 450 and he was helping. And if he had the right tires street tires are better on sand then mud tires because they dont dig. If he let his air pressure out he could have done better. But there are very few wreckers set up for beach towing and this is not one of them.

  • @sndslingr shouldnt have even been an issue. he should have just winched his ass out to the compacted road and hooked the truck up there. who the fuck would take a wrecker out on sand like that is beyond me idc if its 4wd

  • is this in corpus christy? more specificly Port aransas?

  • IF U THINK THIS TRUCK IS GOOD(and it is)YOU MUST SEE "ZIL 131"...RUSSIAN TRUCKS...IS NOT 6X6...THEY ARE ALL TERRAIN

  • it's not like the 250 could have started up and helped or anything like that

  • Your bumper is like a goddamn steel girder.

That is why I need one.

  • The Term 5-ton or 2 1/2 ton does not justify how many wheels it has but how much weight it can carry...

  • fuck dodge chevy ford and gmc im buyin one of these things

  • so this is who ford calls when they get stuck

  • cool truck

  • Street tires like on the tow truck arent good in sand anyhow. If he had the right tires on it, He probably could of pulled it off. Where was tha filmed at?

  • 600cid 6? Please tell me more...

  • That was impressive. I'm only beginning to learn mil 10-wheelers but I know STUCK in SAND when I see it. Any truck that can unstick 2 anchors at once like that qualifies as a keeper! Best regards.

  • It is a 5 ton... it was a bridge transporter that we removed 12ft of frame from and put a deuce bed on to make it a more street friendly... we also removed the outer set of tires and flipped the hubs to bring the tires out... the 5 tons have 10 lug axles and the dueces have 6 lug. It is also one of the very few gas 5 tons around... it has a straight 6 cylinder @ 600 c.i. if your not sure what your posting stop leaving comments...

  • @strngcru99 600 c.i. i6!?! that's a freakin beast! do you know the torque spec on that monster? who manufactures the motor?

  • @strngcru99 you are a liar, this truck is nothing like you just stated. Its not yours, the guy who owns it is the resident homosexual and he doesnt like people on his gay beach. Get YOUR FACTS strait mister...

  • @strngcru99 My old NG unit had a '54 wrecker with a gasser, worst POS engine ever. We towed that wrecker more than anything else we had. A diesel would be much nicer, but you have a nice setup otherwise.

  • not a 5 ton its a deuce and a half 2 1/2 ton truck a five ton would have 10 wheels

  • I thought it was spelled deuce not decue

  • thats kind of a dumb place to run the exhaust

  • gota love jersey!!!!!

  • No it's decue and half I think witch it's like from my understanding a for and dodge mix ford motor and ford and dodge frame and body

  • @CATERPILLER30 yes its a decue and a half

  • @CATERPILLER30 you would also be wrong about that.it was a kaiser product...which was bought out by amc which formed am general!but no that is a 5 ton.although amc was bought out by chrysler in the latter part of 87 the common misconception about my jeep grand wagoneer is that it has a mopar motor.sadly for all of those naysayers it is an amc 360.when in doubt do homework.thanks for playing

  • this is technically a Dodge right?

  • xD i'm only using the clutch for moving a 40 ton building

  • Sounds like a gasser. Nice rig!

  • i guess the tow truck driver gotta pay to get out now haha.. no money for him.

  • What state?

  • lol @ how unstoppable that 6x6 is. also, lol @ F450 driver thinking he could pull the chevy out like that.

  • 5 tons are the shit
