Potter isn't making up any of this criticism, it's all true. Yes, Huo won, but that doesn't make every one of his dives perfect. This is a hard dive, but that's why DD exists. Looking solely at quality, he loses his feet, he crimps his pike, and he's short on the bottom. The judges scores reflect all of those things. Potter is pointing out flaws so that the entire audience can see what distinguishes a good dive from a great dive. Lay off a bit.

lol i can never understand how people can do twisting THEN somersaulting (without twists) in one single dive/jump for trampoline. it's really difficult even to watch!

At one point in time physicits thought that being able to flip and then twist or vise versa was impossible. They observed how divers, gymnasts, trampolinists, and other acrobats move and thought that they were defying the laws of physics... turns out that it is just a transfer of energy and momentum. Kinda cool that acrobats have helped scientists re-examine and explain physical phenomenon.
