for the people who think these years suck just change the quarter panels,rear panel,trunk pan , front fenders,and header panel .. make a clone 70-73. get the parts at a junk yard.. floor pan and firewall is different too but no need to change it and just stroke the 305. i think these years are cool looking though

I have one my dad bought the day i was born, and it got fucked up by the time i was 16 and put a hp motor in it and still working on the body work (since 3 years ago the gas prices were insane) had to get it road worthy due to an accident the other day, and damn I missed driving the car... great fucking car!

great job so far man i bought my car when i was 13 and i am 17 now and i love it. mine was simular but it had more body damage and the engine was blown up. yours seems to be in good shape and with the love your giving it it will be a neat car,. i converted mine to be a stick and im so glad i did. now mine is all done and sits in a nice warm garage all winter , well enjoy and have fun .....i have videos of my car up if ur interested

There were only 84, 877 Z-28 Camaros made in 1979. I am fortunate to have one of them. Mine is painted Yellow. In fact today I have just got it back on the street as I have been working on it for the last 5 years. It just takes time and money but well worth it. Work hard, stay honest, dreams does come true.
great job! it looked real nice near the end of the vid. oh yeah just as a tip.. not sure if you know this but if the serial numbers on the engine and transmission match you got one hell of a money car there. they go for alot if numbers match. keep it original too. if you want a big engine in the future get an older one and build it up but keep the orig one stock. oh yeah watch the engine compartment. i didnt see you painted it but if u didnt paint is w/ the car it may rust. and there is bad
