What an excellent voice! Almost reminds of me Kathleen Battle, only a better actress and more flexible, and even possibly more sizable! I can only imagine singing this killer aria while doing all that stage business! The director is rather cruel, although very interesting.

I don't think this production was vulgar. It merely represents the dream of a man who has to choose between two women with different moral principles. We do know that seduction is used by SOME women to attract a man. The fruit of knowledge presented by the messanger at the end, discloses the outcome. Your opinion is respected.
