  • Us Michigander's in the US have a similar song!

Rust and smoke, the heater broke

    The door just blew away

I light a match to see the dash

And then I start to pray

The frame is bent, the muffler went

    The radio it's OK

Oh what fun it is to drive

    This rusty Chevrolet!

  • came here cuz of scott mills

  • Larfing me arse off!

  • My last name is Bucko

  • here in melb it was raining allmost all day

  • Im listening to this on christmas right now and its 30 degrees celecius.

  • is that Colin from PlaySchool? hahaha

  • Proud to be an Australian! Merry Christmas to all in 11 days.

  • Excellent sending the link to Aussies in Italy.

  • hehehe! he got Pavlovad!

JINGLE BELLS JINGLE BELLS WHO GIVES THAT ITS BOOT AND NOT TRAY?!!

Christmas in Australia on a scorching summers day!

Aussie and proud of it! *sings Six White Boomers*

  • @ Snufflebub, back in the 70`s there were Holden Utes, the same as we had the Holden Panelvan,a "trailer" is something you hook up to the back of your car/van on a tow bar, cars have "boots"...these days in modern times we have the "tray" on the back of Hi-Lux`s etc,and now we have bigger vans for "shaggin wagons" !!

  • Utes don`t have boots... some have tray bodies,,, but if you own a ute, ya don`t say.. Oi go throw the esky in the boot/tray.. you just throw the fucker in the ute !

  • at least they got the rusty holden ute part right

  • @markmuddle,hey holdens are legends for being held together by rust lol

  • We we're just talking about this at work. Christmas in the southern

hemisphere, in Australia - would have to be in the hot summer!!

Maybe it would be better to wait 6-7 months in the land down under.

But does it snow at all in June-July-August? Anyway, I'm going to

buy this song and play it suddenly on Monday. It's a good Christmas

    tune.

    G'day mates (from New York).

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight

depending on the area in which u live in yes it does snow in winter in australia

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight Why would we want to wait? Christmas in Summer is awesome.

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight Id rather ot wait, and yes, it can snow in some places in Aus, it just depends.

you do that, it`ll be funny.

and nice job with the slang mate, you didnt go pverboard ;)

now, where the the hell is the barbie lighter...

  • @LinkinParkandTFs - It's getting colder - but no snow yet here

in New York. It should snow on Christmas (and sometimes

that happens) but then I want spring into summer by mid January.

    Lol...

  • @LinkinParkandTFs - I said I would - but I just bought it now.

And I also bought Deck the Shed with bits of Wattle too.

They are both well done. But I had to go to Wikipedia to find

out what Wattle is. I know the guys at work are going to ask

    tomorrow what that means. Lol.

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight good and what? its ONLY one of Australias most famous plants

  • @LinkinParkandTFs - Yeah it's a plant. Thanks.

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight Yes it does snow here in Australia. Orange (west of Sydney) in NSW has at least one school snow day each year, though no ski slopes. The Barrington Tops National Park, further north sometimes has snow, the Snowy Mountains is our main ski region, that reaches down into Victoria in south-eastern Australia. It can occassionally down to snow at sea level in Tasmania. YES, we can expect snow at Christmas time in our Alpine areas, it's NOT uncommon!! It could this year, its cooler!

  • @TheBrierose - Cool (pardon the pun - LOL).

But I just heard some weather/climate expert (on the radio,

New York City) and he stated that the northern artic region is

keeping less and less ice (it's thinning out). But the southern

antartic is getting more snow (the warmer ocean down there,

means more mositure, more snow). This was all due to global

climate changes (in part global warming). Looks like Santa

might want to switch poles one day - LOL.

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight Im from sydney and it doesnt snow at all where i live :( but at like the blue mountains and stuff it does

  • Thank you Scott Mills

  • 00:12 What is Emile Heskey doing in the boot? :|

  • utes dont have boots, they havetrailers... did no1 pick up on that!?

  • @Snufflebub point taken, but "trailers" doesn't rhyme with "ute" - K'POW!

  • @Snufflebub They have 'Trays', not trailers.

  • @Snufflebub actually you'd be surprised by how many people call them boots. everyone's used to having a boot whether that's open air or not

  • @Snufflebub

No, they don't have trailers, they have trays. :)

  • @Snufflebub WTF???.. you must smoke dope too!!!!! =D

As I child I was afraid of Santa could say

    I was Claus-trophobic Lol Lol !!!!!!!!!

  • As you can see, in Australia the word "Taxi" is short for Taxidermist.

    Why? Stuffed if I know.

Did you hear about the dyslexic Devil Worshipper?

He sold his soul to Santa.

  • @sproutcentral lol we say taxi cuz its shorter. over here you notice that all our words are cut of short Merry Christmas Btw :D

  • @sproutcentral

i live in australia and have never heard of a taxidermist. i dont get your joke. but the second one is funny :)

  • @crazymisscarlza A taxidermist is a person who stuffs dead animals. Not surprised you haven't heard of them, not sure if many still exist, they've almost become a thing of the past. Cheers ;-))

  • @crazymisscarlza a taxidermist is someone who stuffs and mounts dead animals (had to look it up)

  • This is so great! I almost died laughing! :-))
