  • Elie, Horry, Smith, and Maxwell were deadly from 3. Mostly because the guys inside hand to contend with the Dream and needed help.

  • Series was ALL Olajuwon

  • Did you hear how that net snapped when Elie hit the three?! That was a nice shot.

  • LMAO Charles team vs Kenny's team

  • lol look at poor Danny Schayes feet. He was scared to leave Hakeem. It still bothers me as a Rockets fan how easily this could have been a turnover. The 95 Rockets were not to be denied though.

  • i remember everyone in the house was going no no no no yessssssssss! lol

  • This guy is a scum bag. He drinks and drives, and he refused to take a picture with a players mother, and then got him fired after the young man had to put him in his place. This bitch can't take the heat, and doesn't deserve to be in professional basket ball as a coach. He was never a role model, and his actions prove it. DISGRACEFUL

  • @TheGreenPlague his nick name was the junk yard dog. lol

  • @TheGreenPlague all that may be true but it was still a great clutch 3 point shot. go cry that to your mommy

  • Yeah idiot. Coming from behind two years in a row to go on to win the title while you suns fans are still sitting on your hands waiting

  • lol thats something you'll never hear again the rockets beating the suns haha

  • @basketballswagg i beat you this season they will, rockets arent that good but their better than phenix moons

  • @basketballswagg something you'll never hear again is your bullcrap shit being called "CLUTCH CITY". Loser

  • @Stellarmasterelite Uh oh~ Looks like someone wet his bed~ Boo Hoo~ Clutch City for life, Bitch.

  • @Stellarmasterelite aye mane stay up off houston, they have people of more substance the anyobdy from your piece of crap town!!

    Clutch City!!!!

  • @Quilboltferret you guys got me both wrong. i am a rockets fan. i was talking to that guy bragging about how we'll never beat the suns again by telling him his city could have never been called Clutch City, like the great Houston did. Relax. I'm on your side. ;)

  • Charles Barkley made 2 youtube accounts to dislike this video twice.

  • I'm an unemployed recording artist. DroP By and LeaVe mE a Comment!

search: casino the anti social mixtape

  • Funny to see Charles Barkley's team play Kenny Smith's team...

  • I Remember seeing this!!! Gives u chills

  • Super Mario, Big Shot Bob, OT, Kenny the Jet, Mad Max, Dream, Rudy T

  • I'm surprised Kenny hasn't shown this clip to Charles on Inside the NBA

  • so the bench sat at the side of the other team's basket back then.

  • @AngeloVicencio

They always switch up at half time.

  • Either by assist or by point, Robert Horry's involved in most clutch moments

  • @monseratto

what is the musical theme of the video ???

  • Good God, I would have gladly taken a losing season in 96 if they had never brought out those ugly blue pinstriped things they called jerseys. The truth is they just couldn't match up with the Sonics that year.

  • the kiss of DEATH

  • That was a vicious shot by Elie. I'm the biggest Rockets fan ever and I NEVER thought they would come back in that series. It pissed me off to see Barkley prematurely gloating at 3-1 ('Ass-Kicking, Inc.') and it served him right to lose. Gotta knock out the champ, Chuckster.

  • Mario Ellies' KIss of Death, how does that sound, man, beautiful, love those 60 greatest playoff moments. AI's win over the Lakers was faaaar better than 53 though.

  • Why? Most of the other ones actually resulted in the team WINNING the playoff series. AI had a supernatural GAME that ultimately prevented the first undefeated playoff...i think it's ranked properly in context

  • Yea does anyone realize that after the rockets won back-to-back titles they changed uniforms the next year? I still believe if the team had not done that they would have won back-to-back-to-back titles...

  • @DoubleClutch95 well at the same time mj was gona and he came back and well u no the rest

  • @DoubleClutch95

yeah, if only. if they had kept those uniforms maybe they would have actually had a prayer against mj and the bulls...NOT.

  • @hoopsrgreat23 lol rockets never faced mj and the bulls in the finals so dont talk... in the regular season rockets always got the better side

  • @USA1Rockets

you don't know what you're talking about. 1996 bulls won both games, 1997 they split, 1998 bulls won both games.

  • @hoopsrgreat23 we're talking about 94 & 95, rockets championship seasons

  • @DoubleClutch95 Nah they couldnt have beat that 72-10 Bulls team...

  • @DoubleClutch95 Not against the Bulls! No disrespect to the Rockets, but the Bulls were clearly the best team that year (1996) and the following two years.

  • @DoubleClutch95 Not likely. You forgot a man of the name Michael Jordan was back at full form. And boy did he dominate!

  • @hushg2000 He dominated in 1996. But in 1995 (at full form) he and the Bulls got beat by the better team (Orlando) which then got crushed by the better team (Rockets). You can't say that Jordan wasn't at full form in 1995, unless you think he would have scored a lot more than the 55 he put on the Knicks right after he came back. Yeah, didn't think so. But Jordan and the Bulls did indeed dominate after that.

  • @HoustonRules Yeah, but his team wasn't in full form. Around 1995, a lot of the players from the 1991-1993 championship teams had been either traded, signed to another team, etc. 1995 was basically Jordan/Pippen and everyone else. 1996, however, they got a bunch of players to help Jordan and Pippen.

  • @DoubleClutch95 Then again, the 72-win Bulls were in the same season. Even if they made it to the Finals for a 3rd straight year, I don't think they could've beaten the Bulls.

  • @cbnunya The Bulls/Rockets matchups were always competitive. From the mid 80's to the mid 90s, the Bulls only won 1 game in Houston while the Rockets were able to steal 3 or 4 in Chicago. I even remember them mentioning the Bulls troubles in Houston in one of those Michael Jordan home videos they gave you when you subscribed to Sports Illustrated. It would've been a good series.

  • @DoubleClutch95 or maybe if they wouldnt have traded all of their players for charles barkley lol

  • @DoubleClutch95 2 thiings

    1. michael jordan and the bulls were back

    2. freaking traded everybody for barkley

  • @DoubleClutch95

lol, i believe that t-mac and yao wouldve not been injured like every year, and they wouldve won back to back, etc if they didnt change uniforms. man rockets have to be unluckiest team of last 10 years.

  • @DoubleClutch95 That probably could've happened... except Jordan got tired of baseball.

  • @DoubleClutch95 why did u have to bring that up?

  • @DoubleClutch95 of course, in order to complete their 3-peat, the Rockets would've had to beat the '96 Bulls. you know, only one of the greatest teams in NBA history. That would've been a very tough task.

  • The Rockets should go back to those jerseys...

  • Suns suck! :)

  • suns will never win a championship as long as Houston remains in nba..IDC WHAT YEAR IT IS..THEY'LL NEVER WIN 1..they cant to shit

  • Idk about that buddy next year we might have a chance. Phoenix might get KG and Ray Allen for Barbosa and Amare Stoudamire next year. Hopefully, we'll get someone out of the draft too.

  • Keep dreaming.

Time for the Suns to rebuild. THey're half-assing it right now--partial rebuild, partial attempt at a championship run. That never works.

They just need to trade and rebuild.

  • Yeah that was just a rumor. Yeah we're slacking. No more Shaq, soon to be no more Amar'e but the good thing is that we might get Stephen Curry in a possible trade to Golden State for Amar'e.

  • That'd be nice. Right now Phoenix goes down in history as the best team never to win a championship---twice. Barkley in 93 and the Nash era teams.

Too bad your owner is such a cheapskate. You probably would have won at least one ring if he hadn't let Johnson go, sold awesome draft picks, like Rondo and Andre Iguadala, and generally f-d up one of the most entertaining teams in NBA history.

  • Yeah, imagine that, Nash, Rondo, Barbosa, Igoudala, Johnson, Amare Stoudamire. Thats a monster lineup.

  • @lordgamington4 WTF, Wow are you gonna play Rondo and Nash together? Barbosa, Igoudala, Johnson together?

  • no phoenix is the second best team to never win. utah with malone and stockton were the best team to never win a title.

  • I agree. Stockton to Malone is the greatest yet sadess story in the NBA inwinning a championship for a franchise. But they were so good and kind. Especially John Stockton. 19 years in the league and never asked to be traded away. Actually read that he took a pay cut (50% less salary) to stay with the Jazz. THAT"S LOYALTY to a team that was family to him. Try explaining that to all the players nowadays who just follow the money or bounce out to win a championship with a team they barely know.

  • i thought that in 1998 the Jazz were gonna take the series when then they went up 2-0. i was just glad that i was able to see Duncan VS Malone in the late 90's. the 2 greatest PF to ever play IMO. there are so many players that i want to see face each other. like Manu vs Jordan. both are very explosive and Lebron vs Magic.

  • @SAtownZ28

Wait, you mean don't mean the finals do you? If I remember correctly, the Jazz lost game 2 at home to the Bulls and then it carried over into game 3 where they got blown out bad by 40+ which I think is/was the record.

  • yea my vision of the series is blurry. i thought that bulls had no one that could defend Malone. Malone was a beast.

  • @SAtownZ28

Definitely agreed. I watched those Jazz teams from the Frank Layden days on & learned to fear the Stockton-Malone combo. When they finally made it to the finals in 1997, I had doubts they could beat the Bulls. But when they made it back in 1998, especially after sweeping Chicago in the regular season & having home court, I really thought they'd finally beat MJ. After the 40+ point game 3 loss, I realized it was never gonna happen lol, at least not versus the Bulls.

  • hahahaha u think for a second ur gonna get kg??? i laugh at the thought sir.

  • lol wow the suns have had good teams for the longest while but haven't won a championship, lol thats tough for phoenix fans

  • That would be me.

  • Great times

  • LOL damn the Suns stay getting sonned! They always seem to lose those big games, now is no different.

  • WOOO tht was WET

  • The Phoenix Suns are a joke!! Lots of flash and no cash! They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk!

  • the suns sucked. in 94 and 95, they were up 2-0 both times against the rockets and lost both times in game 7. they were great on the road, but just sucked at home. that's why barkley joined houston.

  • Those uniforms were better, I agree. I think that the current ones are playing to the Chinese market.

  • I agree. The Rockets went to the NBA Finals back in the 80's and 90's. In the 80's, they lost twice to the Celtics but won championships in the 90's.

  • Coldest shot in NBA history. Mario was just that dude.

  • so cold. so cold.

  • bad defense. unacceptable.

  • The Suns purposefully trapped the Rockets so that Houston couldn't hold for the final shot. Unfortunately, the trapping Ainge couldn't find Elie in time.

  • Even in 1995 shit was the same, horrible defense by a Suns team

  • yeah i think the suns were up by as many as 15 in this game, and yet they still let it slip. That's sad.

  • The Suns led 44-29 with about three minutes remaining in the first half and 51-41 at halftime.

  • Thats the Suns for you, they are cursed.

  • Yea, Elie threw the kiss of death to Chucky Barkley, that was too cool.

  • i remember seeing elie give an interview and talking about this shot...he said he gave the kiss of death in joe klein's direction and said he was about ready to cry!

  • What is the name of this song?

  • man kenny was jumpin around like he did that shot. lol

  • The kiss of dead

  • three words.

    COLD. BLOODED. DAGGER.

  • after that play danny ainge hit a rocket in the back of the head with the ball i dont remember who it was but elie was pissed and he had to be held back from ainge if any 1 remembers who ainge hit im me and let me know please

  • it was Mario Elie

  • take that back cassell and horry were both there for both rocket championships horry was first from alabama where he played with sprewell and cassell came from fsu a year later

  • yeah it was horrys first year and sams second or vise verse

  • I sure hope the West is ready for whats coming at them theis year in the playoffs....Rockets are young and hungry!

  • yeah, they did an awesome job of stopping kobe last night lol... come on, a rockets home game against a laker team w/o lamar AND bynum? sorry, one round and done for you guys.

  • wow are you serious? its the lakers theres a reason theyve won 60 games. first people wanna expect so much of us even when they know it isnt possible and then when we "dissapoint" them they want to say we suck

  • HA "The kiss of death"

  • Mario Ellie Heartless lol gotta love it.

  • 0:28... OMG is that Sam Cassell??

  • Yeah, it was his rookie year. In game 3 of that years Finals against the Knicks, he scored 7 point in the final 30 seconds including a huge 3 pointer to give the Rockets the win.

  • Actually, disregard that. I thought this game was in '94. It was '95, Cassell's second year in the league.

  • man that was sick i remember WOW!

  • higher no question game seven coming from behind?! higher. 20's or 30's.

  • clutch city

  • Mario elie with the three!!!...haahahaha, i love dem rockets!!!...

  • Thanks a lot,for one of my favorite videos.
