there is like zero grip on icy roads and this looks like a hill they havent got chains or snow tires on and trying to accelerate or brake is pointless so how exactly is driving on ice not hard?

when you live in alaska, you learn how to drive on ice. Even with performance tires on my car I was able to get around pretty easy(had them on when I first got the car). Its just a matter of knowing what to expect. People freak out and hit the brakes or give too much gas.

well if you pay attention to the channel in the bottom corner it is a Washington channel Seattle to be specific and they don't have snow or ice every year only once every ten if they are lucky and if you have ever been to Seattle and the surrounding area then you would know that it is all hill and that means accidents like crazy no matter the weather. And that was the worst weather on the record for the area snow and ice for three day know one knew what to do, driving was almost impossible.
