hey guys, im 15 and i live in Kendall, Florida, and do you guys think i can be a pilot for jetblue someday, my parents combined make 100,000 dollars a year, and my grade average is a c+, if i can be a pilot for jetblue how old will i be when i get the job? please, i dont wanna be screwed with a regional airline paying me at $22,000 a year, im freaking flying planes 9 miles up in the sky and a person who works at a super market gets paid equally or even more than i do, gimmi a break
@johnmunoz18 hey , im 14 and im on my way to become a pilot .. my avg grade is c also .. i take flying at khpn (westchester) . it costs about 300 a lesson .. but u can get cheaper depending on where and how much u fly .. i have 14 hours since i was 12 .. i go about every month and ive learned aliot.. just save and youll be on your way to becoming a pilot .. btw u need about 40 hrs to be able to know everything to take the test ..
@95steveexplorer 40 hours is the minimum total time you need to take the test. But it does not mean you will be ready at 40 hours. It took me 74 to finally be ready to take the test!
Isn't it funny - the airport is commonly referred to / called White Plains - yet it isn't even IN White Plains, it is surrounded by / in Harrison / Purchase (GO PANTHERS! ) / New Castle, hence the airport code HPN.

Look, I was told that video cameras are safe to use on the plane by a pilot. I was never told to turn off the camera at any time. Until I am told by a flight crew member to turn off the camra.......I FILM!!!

I've got news for you - it may be FAA regulations to keep electronics off during takeoff and landing, but with all the millions of photos and videos, and not one fatal crash caused by those videos/photos, to say he put lives in danger by doing this ought to be considered a fear based lie.
So you are saying that al the FCC, FAA and Boing engineers are lieing. Wow you must know something they all don't? How did you get so smart? A 19 year old kid knowing more than all those engineers put together. Yeah, they are all saying a big lie just to iconvenience people. RIIIIGHT.

@johnmunoz18 You need to be 16 to solo. You can start whenever you want. 16 to solo and 17 to earn a private pilot license.
