start small...get some skinny caps and start doing some tags...just regular old tags...stylize it overtime...youll get the hang of it...if you go balls out everytime trying to make that big bad awesome piece youll waste alot of paint getting there.

I'm a beginner , I have full knowledge I am a toy. I probably have no say in this but this kind of makes me mad. I am balls deep in a sketch book trying to learn so I can put some nice pieces up eventually and develop my own style...but this fuckin' guy is shitting all over beginners, wasting money on paint, taking up space from the people who are actually trying to learn and become efficient graffiti artists...he's not even making it look like he's trying to learn. FRUSTRATION!

bro just rack some paint find a chill place out of sight and just practice there for a while until you learn can control and you can do at least a couple different styles of throw ups / tags and then take what you have practiced and start painting in front of the public so you can truly get up without being kicked down for being a toy... and whatever you do learn the legends and respect anything that is recent to avoid any beef with local writers that will shut you down

ive been drawing graffiti for sometime and the shit i draw is pretty fly but yesterday i picked up a can and trew up something on a board, it looked nothing like what i drew. that shit is hard as fuck, paint is expensive a piece could easily end up costin 100 bucks easy, but its easier with latex paint which is more expensive

here is a tip...practice makes perfect...so grab some paper a pencil...and put it up in a pad for a couple years....when you have your own style....THEN PUT UP YOUR UGLY ASS CYCLOPS JELLY BEAN. you guys need to learn can control learn to pick a style of graf. and stick with it.
