They don't wear name tags, they use shelf stockers to fill in for "pharmacy techs" (glorified shelf stockers), they fill controlled substances early, and overcharge people without insurance. FUCK YOU WALGREENS ;)
According to "customer surveys" walgreens is reducing the merchandise mix and lowering shelves because less is more. The "study" has found customers had too much merchandise to choose from, and wanted less so they could get in and out quickly. Well that line of thinking simply nonsense, why would anyone want less to choose from when shopping? Why not carry enough so your business can be a one stop shop? Inventory costs money, but satisfied customers finding what they want are worth the cost.
EVERY PHARMACIST THINKS THAT THEYRE GOD, ALL THE EMPLOYEES SPEAK EBONICS AND THEY CHARGE PEOPLE $10 A PILL FOR SOMETHING THAT COSTS THEM, 2 CENTS!
I CANT WAIT UNTIL YOUR PRICING GETS FIXED WALGREENS, ONCE ENOUGH PEOPLE LOOSE THIER BENIFETS AND FINDS OUT HOW YOU RAPE YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR PERSCRIPTION DRUGS!
TELL WASHINGTON WE WANT PRICES FIXED FOR DRUGS LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLD SO THAT WALGREENS CAN STOP RAPING PPL
What I don't understand is why they changed the signage over the aisles. I thought they were supposed to make them easier to read but instead they have small blue font on a white background and the size of the Walgreen W dwarfs the size of the aisle number so if anything it seems like this makes things harder for customers to locate where items are.
@HeathenExile BECAUSE WALGREENS IS A TERRIBLE STORE THAT SPENDS THE MONEY THEY RAPED YOU ON PERSCRIPTION DRUGS TO SPEND ANALYZING WAYS TO MAKE CUSTOMERS MISERABLE!
WALGREENS HATES YOU AND ME, DONT SUPPORT A COMPANY THAT CHARGES SENIORS $10 FOR A PILL THEY PAID 2 CENTS FOR. ITS A RACKET AND A SCAM AND THEY WILL PAY ONE DAY!
@Amar7605 yep whatever you want to say to discredit me, walgreens is a bullshit overpriced unfriendly store that takes advantage of people without insurance. They actually charge ppl without insurance more than ppl with insurance, if that isnt plane evil than you tell me what is. When they make "mistakes" and charge your credit card multiple times they take months to pay you back. They speak ebonics and have pharmacists that are more concerned with facebook than your well being.
@Amar7605 for someone thats epiletic and has been for the past 10 years that needs a "controlled substance" to keep me from looking like Corky from Life Goes On, yes I can contest to the absolute bullshit and hell they go out of their way to put their "patients" through. I so hope that NOT you....but your children, family's kids and parents all suffer the WORST health problems possibly imaginable so you can watch and hear about how much walgreens sucks from your relatives mouths, cocksucker.
I work for crossmark, and we're doing the ccr resets for the southeast texas area...my particular team has done about 5 stores so far and each time it has taken no more than a monday through friday work week when the store is properly prepared. it actually isnt as complicated as it would seem working around customers
I love CVS. Their stores are so pretty and I also like the carpet. They just seem so much warmer and inviting than Walgreens. Walgreens is dull and uninviting.
CVS has a much better loyalty program too. It doesn't matter how Walgreens changes the look of the stores, I am not going to go near them much if those Register Rewards are the best they can do for deals. They only give you a couple of weeks before they expire, and they have too many rules on using them. They should just lower all the prices and do away with the rewards that don't even print most of the time when they are supposed to.
To be more precise Lithia007, the CCR program was designed to lower shelf heights, minimize product facings, and give the customer a more concentrated view of the products Walgreens carries. From the looks of this, this was a special situation where the store was closed and LOTS of help was brought in to do it. Otherwise this process is slow and done by one person and one department at a time. Price levels seem to be the biggest part so far.
so walgreens wont deploy a team to come to stores and do this with help of employees. this whole process will probably takes months then. i thought they would send in a team like when inventory is done. that sucks
Well believe it or not, it does not take that long when a store is faced properly. Like I said, this was a special situation where the entire shelf structure had to be taken down and reinstalled. And just because it's a time lapse video, doesnt mean it took days, a single row in the store with that many people, probably took a max of one hour.
entire shelf structure had to be taken down and reinstalled? how else would they get the size smaller without lowering the shelves. first for said one department and one person at a time, if the process is down this way, then yes it will take probably a month or so for one store to finish. if a team like in the video, probably did take only one hour
I found this video clip cause the St. Pete Times mentioned it. It was poorly edited that I didn't know what the point of this film was until the last 10 seconds...cutting down the carring items.

@D3NIS08 well, i did it for 3 months and it never took more than 5 and a half days max. sometimes it would be pretty much done in 4 and a half days.
yardie2006 2 years ago
@yardie2006 Yeah idk why my managers kept telling us 3 weeks. They're only scheduled to be here 5 days now.. march 8th to 12th :)
