@jovi1715 C'est surtout celui qui a une vraie voix de mezzo appuyée sur le diaphragme,d'où la bonne articulation.Les autres ont souvent des voix pathologiques et mièvres où l'équilibre des résonnances n'a pas été réalisé faute d'appui. De ceux que j'ai entendu,le seul pour moi qui soit véritablement vocal.J'attends qu'on m'en présente d'autres.

I've just "discovered" Cencic, I find his voice amazing. I'm not a great countertenor fan, but I truly like his timbre, which is quite unique IMHO. I hope he will soon be recording lots of baroque operas...

I fully agree with you. Cencic is certainly one of the best singer at all, especially from baroque and his pronunciation is also very very good. There are seome people who have no idea about singing....

Garri, che vuoi? Cantare in falsetto non è il massimo per la pronuncia. Voglio vedere te. Comunque è anche colpa della registrazione (telefonica?). In teatro si capivano benissimo le parole.

E poi, in Handel, chi se ne frega delle parole? Da un punto di vista poetico, il libretto del Giulio Cesare è buono forse per incartarci il pesce. La musica basta e avanza.

Cencic è il migliore dei controtenori. Che questo poi sia garanzia di piacere...

So two wrongs make one good according to you? Cencic is s great singer, but our blind support doesn't help anyone to improve. And your "guess" is wrong: no, his is not one of the best pronunciations.

I really admire this singer, but what is it with his Italian language skills? I think that someone at his level would have taken care of the dilettantish pronunciation. Even for us, native speakers, it is hard to understand some of the words he sings, and that is specially obvious in his recordings.
