  • this pedal is not loud enough

  • guitar volume flatulence, haha :D

  • you dont carry this

  • @nymetsrock - We don't currently, but we did a year ago when we made this video. Thanks!

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos any chance of possible restocking?

(thanks for the fast reply before)

  • i had a crush on death by audio... but thanks to PGS Devi Ever is my new love!

(well, DBA still manufactures amazing noiseboxes!)

  • More McLusky! Yeeeaah!

  • andy, i just got this pedal but i tried to do the oscillation control thing, but it just kept the same key and my guitar signal disappeared. any suggestions?

  • @kess924 - With this kind of fuzz every guitar will react a little differently. Your pickups and the kind of volume pot on your guitar have a lot to do with it. If you have a volume pot that rolls off really quickly, then that may make it difficult to do subtle manipulations. We would recommend starting with the same setting Andy used in the vid, and then experimenting with the Disaster's control knob and your guitar's controls. Hope that helps. Thanks!

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos thanks! i'll try it. i have a les paul studio. i don't know if that makes a difference with how it should sound.

  • I like that future of the left riff.... so heavy!!!

  • @andeverybodyknows ...mclusky riff

  • i was going to get a fuzz factory- but i think i just changed my mind

  • good call with the blur riffs

  • Sounds like shit! Good sloppy splatty shit!

  • Guys, BRING IN THE SODA MIESER!!!!!!!!!!

  • you obviously have to play Smashing Pumpkins with that strat silly

  • @ManicStreetStevO It's not guys, it just one lady. :]

  • "Good word, it smells in here!"

  • Ha! "What We Learned" by Mclusky!

  • I'm trying to find something to complement a Big Muff (Tone Wicker model) well. Which of these two-knob Devi's could do the job?

  • @modestvermin995 try torns peaker or hyperion fuzz

  • PICKING IT UP TODAY OR MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!XDXDXD

  • gonna be my first pgs purchase, thanks to the vid!!

  • Is it true i need to have this BEFORE my Boss Blues driver on my pedalboard because it will "buffer"..?? Help?!?

  • @michaeljackson407 Your boss will buffer. This is True Bypass. Put the boss as far in front as possible so that your tone will carry along the cables better.

  • andy do yous ship your pedals to the uk ?

i was thinking buying this one it sounds great is it worth the money ?

would this be good for a rythm guitar and lead setting ?

and what music styles does it suit best

blues or geared more towards hard rock metal ?

    thanks :)

  • @JohnnyPopper123 - Yes, we ship worldwide every day. The Devi Disaster is a very cool fuzz. I think the video does a good job of showing what this pedal is best at, but I'm sure a creative player could adapt it to just about any style.

  • I've been looking at fuzz pedals with oscillation for a while..and im gonna go with this one..the price is unbeatable and

    Such great tone..

  • this or the zvex mastotron? which is more harsh?

  • @TacooGrill I wanna know the exact same thing! Andy please help us

  • That is f'n awesome. I'm gonna be so poor, ha. This man is a genius with pedals.

  • I love that you can actually make this pedal fart. I was going to get a FF vexter but I think I'll save $70 and get this one.

  • @PaulBarte I mean $79

  • @ManicStreetStevO

It's actually one person. I think. She has a channel (devieverfx or something like that)

  • Would it sound good with a strat middle pickup and a transistor amp? Looking für something that sounds transparent...

  • Mclusky!

  • This pedal is a pile garbage, beautiful, beautiful garbage. I love this pedal so much.

  • Mclusky boom! haha.

  • 4:06 Matthew Bellamy style! :D

  • How is there never any noise from the pedals on these demos?

  • 4:30 sounds like jack whites organ solo on icky thump!

  • ive wanted a fuzz pedal for a while now. my style of playing is mostly stoner rock. any opinions as to which devi ever fuzz pedal i should get? thanks

  • @guitarizlife1989 Its all down to budget and persomal opinion. I kinda just want them all. But if you realy want someones opinion, you should try this one or the Hyperion. But I MYSELF prefer the Zvex (vexter) Fuzz Factory. Its just so versitile and odd. :P

  • @guitarizlife1989 Get a shoegazer you will love it one sides a SM and the other Torns Peaker. Very good for stoner rock and beyond

  • Hyperion or Soda Meiser ;-)

  • Hey Andy will PGS ever Demo any Earthquaker Devices Pedals? I was glad to see the Devi Ever pedals now, but EQD has some good fuzzes as well.

  • 4:50 Damn!!! Thats gotta smell!

  • Without too much knowledge of the construction, why not use a pot instead of a switch for the self-oscilation? Could be fun to stick a variable resistance in there and see what happened - that is, if it just shorts something, and not if it does anything else :P

  • lol

  • I got the best fuzz in the world christmas!

    Jimi Hendrix fuzz face!

  • Andy, please make a video for the whole Devi line up. That way - when people first find out about Devi pedals, they will search youtube and actually find a QUALITY demo. Gosh, I thought I hated these pedals, but then I realized that everyone posting Devi pedal vids can't play a lick of guitar!

Andy you rock, I don't know if the pedals are good or if you just make them sound good. Either way, great video and Great sound.

    Cheers

  • Much thanks! We'll get around to all of the Devi effects. Hang it there!

  • how do you suppose this thing would sound on bass?

  • @guitar4life9 Crazy insane, do it.

  • @guitar4life9

    narly ass!

  • it would probly sound ridiculous!!!

somebody needs to try it ASAP

    haha

  • I love smacking my amp in the face haha

  • basically, when i think of fuzz, i think of Jimi. but this fuzz is so unpredictable especially when the control is maxed out.

  • @Mastahboys I think of John frusciantes fuzz soaked wah solo a la Red Hot Chili Peppers. But Jimi is to God what John is to Jesus

  • Quite a few, but they all sound surprisingly different.. You can see the whole line we carry at PGS

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos Will you be doing demos of all of them? We should be able to get a taste of all the fuzz posible.

  • LMFAO @ the guitar flatulence!

  • @the1stbeaner - haha, 5:25 check your pants!

  • devi's best pedal yet.Its like bird plop ot the truck windshield at 70 mph ,its all over the place, love it!!

  • i'll buy it just for the live gig fart noises

    Kudos for this pedal

  • Sick pedal, and it's kinda cheap to!

  • yes bruv fucking mclusky!!

  • Can't wait for the Legend of Bit Demo - I know Andy is going to whip out some mean video game riffs.

  • Full on Awesome

  • This thing is insane!! Does it offer true bypass?

  • @BrainSpecialist Yes. They all do.

  • Just look at the site linked in the sidebar ;-)

  • Holy crap, MCLUSKY!

  • wicked fuzz pedal! was 5:27 a fart joke?

  • LOL! "Excuse me"

  • haha i know xD

  • sounds like someone is ripping ass at 4:49

  • Wayy too cool toy! =O I MUST have one some day! =D

  • What i've noticed is that these pedals have nice sound, however they are hard to master. Fun

  • You're right. I have a Hyperion Fuzz, and there are many ways to use it, depending on the guitar, a boost unit before or not, etc...

  • What's the song at 2:55 please?

  • Its Blur "M.O.R"

  • @logankortes

Andy is like encyclopedy of songs. :D

  • wo, man this is a fucked up pedal. i like it :D

  • I wonder if a volume pedal placed before the unit would have the same effect as manipulating the volume knob on the guitar?

  • dont think so

  • passive volume pedal, yep

    active volume pedal, I dunno

  • That depends what you do with the combination of volume pedal and volume on the guitar. Try it you'll see. I'd rather have a volume pedal at the very end of my chain - to control output to the amp... and use the vol. on the guitar to control how much I'm driving the pedals.

  • I <3 Devi

  • hehe, it can sound like a fart machine :)

  • Cool,useful sounds...Can't wait the Aenima's demo..! Cheers

  • (Excuse me....).lol

  • I've been waiting for you guys to do this so I could decide between this or Hyperion :D

  • That riff after 4:30 is one of the coolest things I've ever heard on guitar

  • How much?

  • I <3 The disaster fuzz. I've enjoyed every version I've had.

  • @PumpkinPieces33 Somehow I knew I'd see you 'round these parts! How many Devi's you got?

  • nice :D
